JAY LENO: On Tuesday my first guest won the Michigan primary in the Republican Presidential race. That makes him a real contender in an election that is pretty much anybody's guess at this point. Please welcome Mitt Romney.
(Applause.)
JAY LENO: Thanks for coming. I appreciate your making the trip.
MITT ROMNEY: Thank you. Good to be here.
JAY LENO: And congratulations on Michigan. That was exciting.
MITT ROMNEY: Very exciting for me.
JAY LENO: You got the gold. You almost took the silver. Got the gold.
MITT ROMNEY: I got Wyoming, too; so two golds, two silvers. That's not bad.
JAY LENO: Good. Good. Good. Now, this seems like it's ‑‑ for me it's getting good, but for you guys it's getting nasty. How are you holding up?
MITT ROMNEY: I do fine. You know, I start off the day with a ‑‑ actually with a bowl of granola. My wife makes granola. Before I go on a trip, she gets out the oats and honey and sesame seeds and chops up the almonds. So I take a bowl and have granola in the morning, and then I jog every other day three miles, and then at the end of the day, just to really relax, I take off a dark suit like this and put on a light one.
(Laughter.)

Romney in Heated Exchange with AP Reporter.

Campaign getting a little stressful for you there, Willard? Starting to feel the heat? It’s nice to see this crooked car salesman show his true colours once and a while. If this is the beginning of the end, I can’t wait to see his theatrics as he goes down the flames.
Yes, thanks for posting. Romney handled that very well. He’s a very impressive guy. I’m going to do what I can to help him become our next president.
I didn’t see Romney going off at all. In fact, I thought he carried himself professionally. I guess as we continue to go soft in America that exchange becomes an all out war. Sad isn’t it? You should agree with that at least even though you are not a Romney supporter. Plus hard to go down in flames when you have a three state win and two second place wins after Nevada. He is number one and still does not receive the respect he deserves.
You'd also have to overlook his support for gay rights, shamnesty, the "assault rifle" ban, his big government we'll solve all your problems nanny-statism, and his love affair with Ted Kennedy.
BTW, conservatives should just say no to RomneyCare. It's not the free-market, private enterprise solution he proudly claims it to be. It's unconstitutional government coercion, force, intrusion, socialism, fascism, totalitarianism and abortionism all rolled into one big government nanny-state boondoggle. He singlehandedly won the war for universal healthcare and government subsidized abortion FOR the DEMOCRATS. He's Clinton, Schumer, Kennedy & Co.'s best friend. A useful idiot...."
LOL, you think that was a heated exchange? Perhaps on the part of the reporter. Romney, the consummate professional handled it with dignity and class, never losing his composure and always with that smile.
Must suck to hate Romney and see him do something this well.
Yeah, like McCain is the epitome of tempermental stability.
I can see why you’re a McCainiac....
That’s the biggest load of crap so far this year.
Mitt Romney truly saying that he likes Ted Kennedy and that he’s not at all worried about the rich isn’t helping Mitt with the conservative voters base! Truly lowering the tax burden with everyone from the richest to the poorest helps everyone, and truly lowering the tax burden on the rich also truly helps with the creation of many new jobs all over the U.S.! Mitt also truly needs to be frequently attacked about and frequently questioned about his “RomneyCare Health Care Plan” in Massachusetts which forces many state residences into a government run health care program when most of them probably don’t want to have any part of it in their lives in the first place! (Do the majority of people all over the U.S. truly want similar kinds of “government mandated” health care systems to be created by all fifty states all over the U.S. as well?)
Facts are terrible things
Cool, thanks for the tip!
Spend a day or so researching Granpa Fred. You’d be surprised. And the badge of ‘the only true conservative’ does not automatically make him a viable candidate of the Republican party against the Hildabeast or Hussein Obama.

Well then I suggest you take it up with the author who also happens to own this site and hates liberalism.
ME, Yes I do know JR owns this site. And I also know he would be the first one to allow a debate within the policy of this site. By the way, he and I bowl on a leauge Tuesday nights.
I hope he drops a ball on your liberal supporting big toe.
It’s likely to come down to Romney or Hillary, or Romney or Obama. Then we’ll see how much he hates liberalism.
