Our High Schools here have police mini-stations in them to compliment the security officers.

Come on over, there’s always a bottomless coffee pot in our house.

I discovered yesterday that our SS office had an armed guard. My son said, 'maybe that's where the part of Security kicks in. lol

What is inside of a SS office that someone would want to steal?

Warning.....I drink coffee with chicory. You could stand a spoon up in it. Also, I have to bleach my cups from time to time. ;)

The woman, a longtime Daly City resident with two adult children in the Bay Area, remained in critical condition in the intensive care unit of an area hospital, police reported. Her children are "shocked and obviously extremely concerned about their mother, but doing as well as can be expected," Morena said.

Prayers for this woman and her family, and for those attending her health needs.
God bless LE to find the perp and bring him to justice.

Probably not there to protect SS stuff. There to protect the staff and patrons. SS offices, Secretary of State offices, funeral homes and cemetery visitors get robbed here quite a bit. Local Diner patrons are robbed as well during supper time. No sense getting a Federal rap for robbing a bank when you can get a decent load from a sizable number of people confined in a building.

I didn't think of that. It makes sense now. Thanks.

Agreed.

You wonder how many liberals are going to have to murdered, raped and robbed by illegals before they start seeing the light. I feel sorry for this lady and her family but cant help but say ‘we told you so’. How is it that blacks remain silent when there is an all out war going on against them with mexican gangs???? It makes no sense but such is the liberal mindset - pit the races, gender, and economic classes against one another to foster hate, division and rancor; while seeming like an advocate for each.

San Francisco, CA is one of the numerous sanctuary cities

FYI, the crime took place in the city of South San Francisco. It is a separate, suburban community, just south of the much larger San Francisco. I've not heard of it declaring itself a sanctuary city.

one of the numerous sanctuary cities.

I don’t think the perp lived in the same neighborhood as the victim.

Lucky Japanese! They are not “blessed” with the “joys” of wonderful, vibrant “diversity,” that we here in the US are constantly told to “celebrate.”

Yikes, a gun in the car trunk would bring a big penalty here! Even a sharp instrument brings a suspension from school.

Chicago has always sounded dangerous to me. Maybe I’ve read too many of Paretsky’s books about V.I. Warshawski, lol.

[Our High Schools here have police mini-stations in them ]

That’s amazing! We have security officers but police would have to be called in an incident. They ‘say’ we don’t have enough police to patrol the schools!
