Michigan County Coordinator For Ron Paul Is Ku Klux Klan Organizer

January 18th, 2008 by Chris Jones

http://www.bloggernews.net/113194

Randy Gray, the Midland County, Michigan coordinator for the Ron Paul campaign is also a longstanding active and vocal organizer for the Knight’s Party faction of the Ku Klux Klan.

A number of people have brought this to the attention of the Paul campaign, to which they have had no response. However, quite mysteriously the list of Michigan county contacts on the official site of the Ron Paul campaign has vanished.

It’s just too bad the Ron Paul thugs can’t make Google’s cached pages disappear, because phenry over at Daily Kos has located the missing pages.

Here is what the list of Michigan county contacts at the official Ron Paul campaign site looks like now, and here is what it looked like before the cover-up.

Also, the allegedly independent site michigan4ronpaul.com is suddenly missing Midland County and the name of its KKK coordinator.

Here is what the Michigan County contacts list at michigan4ronpaul looks like now, and here is what it looked like before the cover-up.

Without a doubt the Ron Paul supporters are going to claim that this is yet another conspiracy and it’s a total coincidence and/or complete fabrication every time Paul is associated with hate groups.

As a little icing on the cake, here is the now missing profile of Midland County Coordinator Randy Grey from the michigan4ronpaul.com website. Notice how Ron Paul is smiling and shaking the man’s hand?

If that still isn’t enough for you, then please enjoy the above YouTube clip showing Randy Grey with a freshly shaved head holding a friendly KKK rally. He’s got that whole “angry Führer” thing down pretty well don’t you think??

I know you Ron Paul supporters are still going to say that doesn’t prove anything! How was he supposed to know that guy was a Klansman? Or that time he was photographed shaking hands with most notorious Neo-Nazi leader in America, he of course didn’t know a thing about it.

Oh yeah, and the racist newsletters that were printed under his name for 10 years, many of which were written in first-person he also had nothing to do with. We’ll just chalk that up to a Jewish conspiracy!

But even you die hard “Paulnuts” have to admit that it’s a little strange that no other candidate seems to have his picture accidentally taken with Nazi’s, or accidentally hires Nazi’s, or has racist and bigoted newsletters penned under his name, or has Nazi’s show up at campaign rallies.

How long are you going to keep lying to yourselves? You thought he would be a good candidate at first and maybe you like some his ideas, but your being hoodwinked and it’s time to walk away.

Week after week the evidence of Ron Paul’s ties to right-wing extremists and hate groups continues to mount, and week after week you tell everyone to stop hatin’ on Ron Paul and you just sweep it under the rug. Wake up!

The only places this is getting traction is on the Daily Kos, New Republic, and a handful of freepers who enjoy race-baiting.

If this is beating a dead horse, why do you waste your time? Or is it simply the chance to show your superior English grammar that gets you aroused?

Tell me KDD, is Ron Paul a racist and conspiracy theory nut as depicted in his newsletters or is he an incompetent who let them be published for two decades under his name? Which makes him less qualified to be POTUS?

That’s unacceptably lame coming from a race baiter who stresses guilt through association. I’m not surprised you don’t see the correlation Jackson. Your comrade in race bait tactics Jesse would claim to be ignorant of it too.

Because a few people post items from the Daily f#$&ing Kos which are full of half-truths and lies of omission. Do me a favor. Go back and re-read the original article of this thread. Can you honestly tell me that you would get the impression that this Michigan campaign is completely independent of the actual Paul campaign? Of course not. Garbage like this belongs on sites like Kos and the SPLC's.

So now we’re against freedom of association?????

Ron seemed pleased with the association. Now the election is over, the name is gone.

See the link in post 65 as to the independence of the Michigan campaign. It's on his campaign site, Paid for by the Ron Paul 2008 Presidential Campaign Committee but Paul has nothing to do with it.

How difficult would it be to simply put out a release when asked about an issue like this, we didn't know, we don't want kluckers here, he's gone and we've blocked incoming donations from the KKK site. Must be tough, they fail that simple test everytime it comes up.

Was the guy’s name not removed when they found out about him? Or do you expect for Paul to be clairvoyant yet again and know who is campaigning for him in all 3077 counties in the United States? They did the right thing here, Jesse.

But why do you care? By your own tagline you're a Thompson supporter. It doesn't affect your candidate.

And your above response takes in only this one thread. There have been many more threads that were anti-Paul on which you've vocally defended him. And where the source was The New Republic, there was valid information backing up the assertions. Yet you go to the wall rebuking and denigrating FReepers who dislike Paul. Again, why do you care? Why be so angry? Why denigrate good people? It can't be because you yourself feel damaged by their assertions about Paul; you're a FredHead, right? Why?

Ron Paul is comfortable with support from the hate community, from David Duke to Willis Carto to Don Black to Stormfront to American Free Press to the KKK. The list goes on.

He's comfortable with it, it doesn't surprise me his supporters are comfortable with it. Like the newsletter, other's aren't.

You really should get over it. Insteat of accusations, take the Paul line, say they're supporting Paul for his message of freedom, and they're free to hate whomever they wish.

Which they are.

they're free to hate whomever they wish.

Indeed.

Just as the hate expressed toward Rom Paul and his message has free reign here at FR.

I really hope you're just playing stupid. OF COUSE HIS FU%&ING CAMPAIGN WEBSITE IS GOING TO BE PAID FOR BY HIS CAMPAIGN!!!!! His website was providing a list of independent county campaigns. Using your deluded logic, Free Republic is now associated with Randy Gray. Thanks to you of course. Good going.

How difficult would it be...

I don't see where it would be difficult at all. Campaigns do it every day (well, almost). In fact, a blanket announcement stating all donations from questionable donors were being returned, and that any association with such donors, explicit or implied, were being terminated, would end this controversy immediately. I know it would for me.

Frankly, I get tired of the BS. And I get tired of the spin that we're responsible for keeping this alive. We're not. The Ron Paul campaign is ultimately responsible because they have thus far refused to take the high road.

You're like Brer Rabbit kicking the PC tarbaby.

You should be thrown in the liberal briarpatch.

(Now watch Rev. SJackson accuse me of being racist because I used tar-baby in a sentence.)

a.)I happen to like Ron Paul. I don't agree with his foreign policy, but on things such as abortion, the 2nd Amendment and role-of-government philosophy, he admirable.

b.)I am against bull$hit Internet crusades. There is plenty to attack Ron Paul on. He's out to lunch with his foreign policy. There is no need for sloppy, dishonest, race-baiting, clown posse-esque nonsense here on FR.

Until recently, on the pro-Rudy site the originator of this thread hangs out on, there was a crusade against Thompson claiming that his past leukemia put him at death's door and that he'd be dead in less than five years. I don't like attacks on anybody based on lies. I can't stand Rudy, but I will sure as hell defend him against any race baiting that will undoubtedly come up if he's the nominee.

Fair enough. Oh, and I could hit you with a grammar error but I won't...this time.

b.)I am against bull$hit Internet crusades. There is plenty to attack Ron Paul on. He's out to lunch with his foreign policy. There is no need for sloppy, dishonest, race-baiting, clown posse-esque nonsense here on FR.

Again, fair enough on the bull$hit crusades. But what I see here is not sloppy (except for grammar junkies) dishonest or race-bating and nonsense. Any time a candidate has shown to have ties with fringe groups such as this it should be investigated.

...there was a crusade against Thompson claiming that his past leukemia put him at death's door and that he'd be dead in less than five years.

Poor argument. That's a crusade based on supposition and innuendo. What's been written about Ron Paul has some evidence behind it. That evidence may not be completely factual, and may prove to be false in the end, but until it's investigated thoroughly it will hang there and be a sore spot to the campaign and his followers. It's best to get it in the open, given the light of day, and dealt with.

I can understand your high ideal for fair play and justice, but your constant denigration of others, and criticism of grammar and punctuation, is turning you into a buffoon. You want to dispute the threads? Do so with your own factual evidence in a proper respectful tone. Do away with the recrimination and name calling. Forget the smart a$$ remarks and show yourself to be an honest yet respectful contributor. You'll get a lot of attention and even some respect.

Aren't They?

He's not the "Michigan coordinator of the Ron Paul campaign".

Who said he was? He is the Midland County, Michigan coordinator....

'Michigan' only identifies the location of the county.

Something about St Paulibots and reading/writing skills. Maybe it is anti-Libertarian to pay attention to those rules, as well?

I wonder what Paul will come up with.

"The time he spends coordinating my campaign is time that he doesn't spend terrorizing black people."

or some such.
