OK, so Ron Paul isn’t ‘in bed’ with the racists, but the racists are ‘in bed’ with Ron Paul. And, the point is, Ron Paul hasn’t kicked them out of the bed. So what does that make Ron Paul? Just a candidate who is willing to share his bed with racists?
I simply do not understand why the continued defense of a candidate who allows a skin head site to post a banner supporting him for president and has a link to donate to his campaign. Nor, can I understand the continued defense of a candidate who refuses to block donations from that site and refuses to return donations from known neo nazis.
The argument that Ron Paul’s message is a message with ‘broad appeal’ is so much horsehockey.
Saw your post. I hope I didn’t leave the impression that I am a Ron Paul supporter, as I’m not. I think he is a weasel (like most politicians). My earlier comments had to do with people writing a public blog, and about the fact that I do have some beliefs that could be considered libertarian, but not enough to go all the way down that road. I personally think the Paul supporters go way beyond libertarian in many instances.
