They’d have to taz me to get me to go! I am the operator of a public utility (water), and I’m on 24 hour emergency call. It’s my job, and my duty, to supply continuous, safe water to several thousand people. No way would I go!

The voir dire must be interesting with these pissed-off juror candidates. The attorneys ad judges probably ignore all the protest comments and just empanel the jury - in which case many jury members go the annulment route out of spite.

I wonder what the conviction rate is in that county, where "emergency" jurors are used?
