Romney leads in the conservative rural and northern counties. There are a lot of retired NY liberals who have moved to FL. in the southern cities.

Was Michigan a “winner take all” win for Romney or were the delegates split?

~”The last Fox News Poll I saw had Hillary beating Romney 62% to 38%.”~

uh... it’s January. The election is in November. Such data is utterly worthless at this point.

Yeah, like Bush did such a bang up job as pres or Clinton or even daddy Bush. Don’t cry or anything.

Under normal circumstances; yes. But, that's a hefty lead. In '88 at the end of the Dem Convention, Dukakis led Herbert Walker Bush by 17 percentage points. Bush won 5 months later.

But, like I say, that's a hefty lead to overcome.

If we get Romney, he’s gonna be another Daddy Bush, or Clinton, or Bush Jr. We’d be lucky if he even measured up to Bush Jr.

Split. Romney currently has double the number of delegates as all other candidates combined. Even if he comes in second in SC with its 24 delegates parsed between the different candidates he is taking most of Nevadad’s 34 on the same day. While every one is duking it out in the SC battle Romney is winning the war...and putting up a good fight in the SC battle as well.

We are in January. I predict a McCain majority in NY, CA, FL, TX, AZ, OH, MO... Then he will add Giuliani’s and Thompson’s delegates.

Why is’nt the “true” conservative, Fred getting more votes and delegates? I thought voters would flock to a “true” conservative!

I guess I was wrong!

Because conservative voters dont think a true conservative can beat Hillary or Obama in November. That’s why they are flocking to McCain. They think he can steal enough moderate Democrats to win the general election.
