However, its report acknowledged that temperatures in southern Greenland during the 1930s and 1940s were at least as warm as in recent years.

Imagine how warm it was in the 10th - 12th centuries when Europeans farmed and grew livestock on Greenland.

But this winter Greenland has frozen more than in the last 10 years and the Arctic Ocean has frozen at a record rate. And notice they say “the last 50 years” to avoid having to mention the even warmer 1930-40’s.
