What surge?

He is way behind in SC too. Reagan had a 50 state strategy. Like rudy, fred has a skip the next state strategy.

All this ‘ proof’ does is cherry pick a couple meaningless metrics.

Maybe he bought more google adwords driving the traffic up? Who knows. His polls are dismal.

Well, at least now I know. You are for Romney.

I can’t help but wonder (not that it matters on this site) how you expect to draw people to your candidate by constantly sniping at our candidates?

Actually, I think Mitt is the second choice of most Freepers. We like him. You .... not so much!

NO SORRY — but the cult members are those backing Ron Paul and the Dems’ choice (Mike Huckabee). That’s reality.

I did find it weird that someone would imply that Thomspon supporters were acting cultish. I’m a strong Thompson supporter.

If Fred could actually win in SC, everything changes.

True. You'd have Huck winning Iowa, Mac winning NH, Slick Willard winning MI, Fred winning SC and Rudy winning FL.
This thing might go to a brokered convention for the fist time since 1952.

You should save your breath, or your fingers, the trouble. I’ve begun to consider Thompson supporters as much a cult as Paul’s.

YES!

Jim, we are a CULT man!

That is soooo cool!

You are like our "Jim" Jones I guess...

Can we get a compound some place really nice, like the Bahamas, and have Margaritas instead of Kool Aid!!!

Uh....NOT ME. I think he is a pandering, self-serving, two-faced, phony, hypocritical, closet liberal. I'd vote for a third party before I'd vote for him.

Thanks for posting that. I’d just finished researching it myself and was going to post, and see that you beat me to it.

Bears repeating here and wherever people like HisKingdomEtc do their spamming: The “fact” that Thompson cast a vote for the Kerry Amendment is false.

Thompson voted to kill that amendment. Thompson voted yea on a motion to table Kerry’s amendment #5279 to HR 3756, which would have diverted $21.3M from tax law enforcement appropriations to the study of taggants. So in this case, as in many others, a “yea” vote is a NO vote on the bill itself.

lol...statistical tie...lol! he’s in 4th place for cryin’ out loud.

I'll just bet you're often disappointed and confused by poll results if you don't understand the concept of statistical significance. Fred is effectively tied for second in this poll which is only accurate at predicting the entire population's preferences to within +/- 3 points.

No, I think the polls have been pretty good on the GOP side. The problem with people like you is you always want to skew things your way. Margin of error doesn’t mean what you think it means.

It’s pretty obvious to us who are informed that Romney & Thompson are the choices. I’d feel good with either on top of the ticket.
