McCain was booed by a crowd while he was giving his thoughts on illegals what we should do with illegal immigrants. McCain contended there are “various things” we could do depending on how long the illegal has been here and what their “record” has been.

Hey McCain!! Would you be the one, though, to call that same soldier in Iraq and tell him his mother lost her job because her employer found an illegal that would do it cheaper?? Would you be the one to call that soldier in Iraq to tell him his mother was raped during a home invasion from an illegal?? Would you be the one to call that soldier in Iraq to tell him his mother just died in a head on collision from a drunk illegal?? And finally,,, would you be the one,, Mr. McCain, to call that soldier and tell him that half of his town was wiped out from a WMD brought across the border by an illegal?? I didn’t think so!!

FOX LiveCam just showed the Greenville, Michigan polling place. They were all in stitches. NOT A SOUL IN SIGHT! There was one old guy sitting behind a table shuffling papers. Not one of the voting machines had been opened.
It was a funny segment.

More importantly, I’d think the ugly weather in MI today wouldn’t provide much incentive for an indie or Dem to haul himself to the polls to vote for McCain!

Something I heard yesterday that makes me furious.

...In 2000, McCain lost Michigan by a huge margin among Republicans, who favored then-candidate George Bush by more than a 2 to 1 margin. By contrast, McCain won big among independent voters, winning two-thirds of them, and even bigger among Democrats who chose to vote in the Republican primary.

At the end of the day in 2000, McCain won Michigan by about eight points, breathing life back into his campaign temporarily...

McCain's contrived sound bite is about an illegal Alien mother that has a child while in America illegally and because of our current laws, the child becomes an American citizen. The child then goes on and joins our military. I certainly do not think that our military is signing up Mexican citizens to fight for America, but McCain wants you to think our military will suffer without illegal Mexican citizens. It is a subliminal logic twist. First thing we have to do is repeal the birth laws. Mexican citizens should not be able to give birth to American citizens. Just as American citizens should not be able to give birth to Mexican citizens.

While I respect the man for his service to our country, McCain’s candidacy has always been a Democrat creation. This election cycle is no exception. I think the Dems realize that they might have problems with their eventual nominee, so forcing a McCain nomination upon the Republicans will ensure that a Democrat (at heart anyway) wins the election either way.

McCain’s arrogance comes through when he gives a “thumbs up” with a head nod after telling a woman in the audience that she could deport a soldier’s (who’s fighting in Iraq) mother. Of course, there are exceptions, and everyone is aware of this and acceptable with this.
