I thought this was a conservative forum? What are you doing here? Hyping the Huckster, obviously -- because he can't see past the claim that Huck is a Christian... Probably voted for Carter -- for the same reason...

I figured that, but I want him or her to say it here. Huck is not a conservative and this is a conservative forum. He is wasting his time.

Fred Thompson voted AGAINST impeaching Bill Clinton. Any questions? Sorry but you are wrong again. Fred voted to CONVICT on the obstruction of justice charge and it only takes one conviction to remove from office.
Don't you ever tire of being humiliated? You are hashing over very old material that has already been discussed here at FR many times over. You are making a complete ass of yourself. Please get help.....and fast!

Mike Huckabee’s Kingdom will abolish nothing but common sense and Conservatism. Past time you were relegated to the lunatic fringe.

I hope we does well also. If all the people who like him, but fear others won’t, came out and voted, I bet he’d do well indeed.

First of all, the Senate does not vote on Impeachment, the House does. Second of all, Thompson did vote to remove Clinton from office on one count, just not both. A fact convieniently ommitted in your post.
(If his Kingdom will abolish lies, you might want to duck.)

“Both McCain and Thompson were contenders to be George W. Bushs running mate in 2000.”
1. Relevance to the price of tea in China?
2. Your proof. (As if you need any.)

Cant wait to see how he handles Congress. Glad to see your acknowledgement that Fred's going to be the next President.

And Ken Star didn’t indict Bill Clinton despite spending 70 million dollars. What’s your point? Thompson didn’t secure confessions from the Clintons, so he could never stand up to Congress.
Do you realize how petty and pathetic you sound.

Thompson is opposed to amending the constitution, so you say he isn’t pro-life, but you say Romney is pro-life even though he has promised to “protect and preserve Roe v. Wade” and he has worked to raise money for NARL. (Interesting perspective you have there).
Funny, almost every single right to life organization seems to disagree with you, both on Thommpson and Romney.

You new to politics? Thompson correctly disdains the ridiculous notion of amending the Constitution. (If you believe that’s possible, you believe in the tooth fairy.) He is correctly focused on appointing justices who will do what is very possible: overturn Roe v. Wade. Then the states will be free to quickly take care of business on their own.
And Romney? Who cares what that liberal Massachusetts flip-flopper has to say?
He is completely untrustworthy.
To: HisKingdomWillAbolishSinDeath
Fred Thompson voted AGAINST impeaching Bill Clinton. Any questions? In what way, specifically, did you not agree with the rationale behind his decision? Most notably:
- Do you believe that the perjury charge was presented and proven with the level of specificity that would have been required by an honest judge and sane jury in a criminal court?
- Do you believe that the Senate should apply a substantially loser standard of proof in an impeachment trial than would be required in criminal court?
It would not be totally unreasonable to answer "yes" to one or both questions, but I can't see any basis to fault Fred Thompson for answering them "no".
