Answer the 11 questions below to find out which candidates are most aligned with your views and opinions. You may skip questions if you do not want them factored into the results. This quiz is not meant to pick your candidate for you. It is designed to inform the public of the various stances candidates make. Results are not scientific. The WQAD candidate survey is based on the original SELECT A CANDIDATE survey developed by Minnesota Public Radio and posted at: http://minnesota.publicradio.org/projects/ongoing/select_a_candidate/. PICKS
McCain.....not my choice
Thompson...my choice
Richardson highest D..ahead of Huckabee
Edwards on the bottom
Pretty close but I don’t like McCain on top and some
of the questions I agree are kind of gray....
Your batteries must be on low.
Anyone know whom I ping for a troll? Is that Admin Monitor?
What exactly did I bring up? I was replying to the first post on the thread. You made a snide comment to me from left field.
Listen, I went back after I replied to you to see if you recorded a vote on this thread. After reviewing your vote results, I can only assume that you were attempting to have a crack at a new guy’s expense. I didn’t find it amusing, and resented your suggestion that I should go over to DU, hence my retort.
My point was that those who wrote the voting poll have McCain’s record wrong if they think I agree with him on immigration. I noticed a couple of other people found the same discrepancy in the results.
If you’ve been here since 1998, why would you crack on a new guy before you even find out who he is, or what his conservative bona fides are? I come here because I’ve respected the level of discourse here, over most other forums for years now.
I may only have a smattering of posts here, but I have many thousands elsewhere, so I’m not exactly wet behind the ears. I’ve watched what were once good forums descend over time into juvenile hangouts. It would be a real shame to see that happen here.
I won’t support that.
Hunter
Thompson
Hillary is at the bottom of my list. That’s confirmed.
Confirmed here as well.
I didn’t like to see Mccain get a 41 and top my list, but I did like to see Hillary at the bottom!

You have FReepmail.
What about your statements that you've notice "snide comments" from me over the past few months? You make a mistake? That's what I'm interested in. Not nice to call others trolls, dontcha think?
I've extended the hand of friendship here, WF, only because you took time to post a very nice response. But beware that everytime you call someone a troll, you become prime.
Good night to you and yours. It's 2:40am here and I'm finally off to bed.
How did McCain show up first? Doesn't make sense.
Should read McCain 76
Hunter 73
Fred 73
Seems like this might be tilted to McCain. The numbers are kind of strange.
I was suprised he was third on mine too. And I totally agree with your assessment of McCain. He gives me shivers.
Yikes, it picked McCain at 54, with Fred at 51! McCain has co-opted our issues but I don’t believe he would follow through.
It picked McCain, but if there had been a question like “Would you support an egotistical, old coot?”...
Romney and Thompson tied at 42
Hunter at 40
Old Coot at 34
Rest of the Republicans below, with Huckabee lowest before the Democrats at 24.
Old Coot was way too high, but otherwise it seemed fine.
Hunter 72
Romney 72 (Huh?)
Thompson 67
The rest can go pound sand.
Romney 50 - Yuck! Never will I vote for that chameleon.
Seems like you agree with many of his issues.
