DALLAS — Two city police officers accused of holding country music singer Steve Holy and a friend at gunpoint during a home game of foosball have been fired...

On the 911 recording, the operator sounded frustrated by an inability to get information from Holy, who told her several times that he's a recording artist.

When she tried to ask Holy if the two officers left together, he answered: "He put a gun to our heads."

"OK, you told me that at least five or six times," she said. "I have that. I understand that."

“Foosball eh? Sounds kinda gay to me.”

Two guys go to a bar. They meet two other guys there and decide to go back to the house for a game of foosball. I’m agree that someone made a pass at someone and it wasn’t on the table.

I don't care if they hate country music, no reason to put a gun to the guy's head.

That depends.

Some country music can be really, really annoying.

I'll wait to pass judgement until I hear some of his music.

: )

Good call.

From the link in post#20:

Officers Anderson, 25, and Loughridge, 48, are roommates. Both joined the department in 2005 and attended the same academy class.

I don’t think he’s had a hit in years, but he was quite good.

I’m sure that the cops-can-do-no-wrong crowd will come up with a reason, maybe several.

I have been accused in the past of being in that crowd, but cannot find anything to justify this one based on what I have seen or read so far.

Important rule: If you’re playing Russian roulette with a semi-auto, always have the other guy go first.

I have to confess that one time I was numbered among that crowd also, but I have been converted.

Further from the link in post #20:

Officer Anderson was a correctional officer before joining the department. Officer Loughridge previously worked as a journalist and in the public relations field.

Journalist/PR rep with an ex-screw.

Definitely gay.

...He came back down the staircase “with the gun no longer in his hand and stated to the Complainant [that] he would kill him if he said anything about the incident.” He also told Mr. Holy to have his wife call 911 back and say they didn’t need to send anybody.

Gee. This sounds kind of like witness tampering. And is "under color of the law" an aggravating factor?

Woe be to us and our liberty when our law enforcement officers become just as morally bankrupt as the rest of the population. It has already started to happen.
