I heard it today when Rush went on, and it was fabulous! When it was over I wanted to hear more and more.

El Rushbo shows once again that he is better than ever, and what a good investment Rush24/7 is!

Rush missed an obvious point — many Democratic party Congressmen voted AGAINST the Civil Rights Act

Good, but not by no means the greatest. Rush has too many great monologues to able to pick one out and call it the greatest. One of my favorites is a one he delivered late in the Nov 2004 election season in response to Teresa Heinz Kerry saying Laura Bush never had a real job. That — is for the ages.

The Klintons are “cohorts” in crime and communistas.

I’m not ready to bestow “greatest” on today’s monologue, even though the Dr. Strangelove soundtrack was pretty cool. It is up there with the top 10, but it is only 17-0, not 19-0 yet.

Maybe it’s just me, my age and my failing ears, but I had to turn it off. I couldn’t hear Rush because of the music. Again, maybe it’s just me, but I really don’t like it when Rush or other talk show hosts talk over music.

Just a personal thing.

I listened to this classic on the way to Subway for lunch. It was simultaneously hilarious and “spot on”. This is why Rush gets the big buck$.

In the background, Rush had “When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again” from Dr. Strangelove...just perfect.

I watched the video even though I heard him deliver this today. He was having a great time in the video, laughing at the ideal he was broadcasting over the EIB Network.

Gotta hand it to him. He’s doing what he is pefect for. More power to him.

Was he having a GREAT time or what?!!!

(Observation: It looked like he was reading parts of the monologue.)

Be sure to read the thread The Clintons and History for more good times!

Yes, great monologue. But here’s the question that Rush NEVER answers (or even tries to address).

Why hasn’t the Republican party coalesced around a conservative candidate for president?

Why hasn’t a conservative candidate emerged and caught fire?

If millions and millions of Republicans truly wanted a conservative, wouldn’t there be at least a little more interest in Fred and Duncan Hunter? Wouldn’t it be likely that someone else out there would have been prevailed upon to run, just as Dubya was prevailed upon to run in 200?

Rush talks about the state of conservatism in the country today. If there’s a tree, why is there no fruit?

Rush talked about conservatism growing on college campuses. College students have been a big part of making Obama a serious contender, yet a corresponding phenomenon is not occurring on the Republican side-—even though there are candidates even in the race who are more conservative than the frontrunners.

My point is this: I agree in principle with what Rush says about the state of conservatism and its immutability and so on. At the same time, however, it seems to me that if this is true, there would be evidence of it that would naturally emerge in the marketplace of ideas (politics).

Rush?

It is what we expect. Remember that it was his seeding of the NY drivers license for illegals question that was one of the pre-Iowa speed bumps the HRC parade hit. He is doing the same thing now.

If there is Republican disunity on a MINOR point, the NYT is all over it.

I have not seen a thorough discussion of the ugly facts by an MSM outlet yet about the ugliness over at the Democrat Civil War.

That is why Rush remains essential. He analyzes and reports what needs to be analyzed and reported.

If the Repubs win in November, it will be in significant part because of his continuing contributions.

God Bless him.
