I’m gagging on this article.
No, HELL no, gun show attendance has been going through the roof - there’s been a little reluctance to register some guns, since that’s making them a list.
“At the same time, support for stricter gun controls has been growing steadily “
I am not sure about this - lots of carry permits are being issued and what about DC? Looks like we are making progress.
In the fourth quarter of 2006, sales by gun and ammunition manufacturers jumped by 22.7 percent, led by 56.4 percent increase in handgun sales. Statistics are taken from the latest Pittman-Robertson federal excise tax collection report, courtesy of the NSSF.
Not much of a fade, if you ask me.
The most dangerous gun control law was just signed into law, the law opens the possiblity that anyone can be deemed too mentally unstable to own a gun.
The gun-grabers don’t need even one more gun control law. Ever. The era of individual ownership will come to an end unless we can do an end run around the law, or have it modified to the point of it becomong usless.
In time all of us can be considered too unstable to own a gun.
The gun culture is growing stronger, especially among women and young people. Ten years ago, when I went to the range sometimes I’d be the only woman there. Now it’s about 30% female.
What a view from their Ivory Towers.

A group of us go to the range once in a while, with one exception it is all couples.
Just purchased S&W Sigma in .40 caliber. Cabela’s has it for 299.99 with 2 14-shot clips. Includes a coupon with a $50 rebate plus 2 add’l clips. Is this a great country or what! They’re also offering the same deal in 9mm, but the 9mm clips are 16-shot.
So I guess ‘gun culture’ is the bad thing and not violence according to libs.
This proves that it’s not about safety, but all about controlling the sheeple.
A reasonable person, being necessary to the security of a free State, should kick the crap out of a jerk like that.
The survey was conducted by the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago in collaboration with the Johns Hopkins Center for Gun Policy and Research with funding from the Joyce Foundation.
Never trust anything utterred or written by Eurotrash named “Bernd”.
It just so happened that I went to a gun show this afternoon. Standing room only. BBQ, smoked sausage, jerky and, oh yeah, guns, ammo and more guns. There were even a couple 0f 50 caliber sniper rifles. Got myself a delayed Christmas presence - a Rohrbaugh. I still feel guilty when I think about all the money I spent buying the gun that I should have spent on feeding the young ‘ns. Well, first things first.
The NRA fully supported that law and in fact that support helped the bill sail through.
We went the Gun and Knife show in Indianapolis this weekend and the place was packed.
