"A third of my generation is dead because of politicians like Giuliani." -- Steven Pokorny, age 28, at Giuliani during meeting in Miami, Sunday, Jan. 13

MIAMI, Jan. 13 /Christian Newswire/ -- Rudy Giuliani was rattled by pro-life advocates and canceled his speech at his first bus-tour event Sunday in Miami.  Activists have planned confrontations with Rudy for every stop of his Florida bus tour.  Photos available online.

On Sunday, Jan. 13, at approximately 12:15 PM, pro-life activists were in the crowd at The Green Street Cafe (located at 3110 Commodor Plaza, Coconut Grove Florida, just outside Miami) waiting for Giuliani to begin his Florida Bus Tour.

When Rudy Giuliani arrived, Joseph Landry (age 26) was within 5 feet of the candidate, and began yelling: You are a baby killer! You are a baby killer! Florida is pro-life! Rudy wants public funding for abortion!"  See news report. Law enforcement officials immediately escorted Mr. Landry from the area, while Mr. Landry continued his monologue.

Within Minutes, Steven Pokorny, age 28, stood to his feet and cried out, "A third of my generation is dead because of politicians like Giuliani! Giuliani wants to kill children and have you pay for it!" Law enforcement did not stop Mr. Pokorny.

At that point, Giuliani left the building, without addressing the crowd.

Mr. Pokorny was able to follow Mr. Giuliani for more than a minute, yelling out about Rudy's pro-choice, pro-homosexual agenda. Again, Mr. Pokorny was not interrupted by police.

Giuliani officials had no idea how many pro-lifers were in the crowd, and how many more times Giuliani would be confronted. This might explain why Mr. Giuliani did not make any remarks - and left the meeting without addressing supporters.

Pro-lifers have scheduled confrontations with Rudy on every stop of his Florida Bus tour.

Video footage of the confrontations with Rudy is available upon request.

Heckling is not stifling. Rudyshould be able to handle hecklers; he’s trained litigator, for gosh sakes. Where the audience has been packed. of course, he should have the option of having the hall cleared.

I’m sorry that you don’t understand.

I am less concerned about Rudy’s getting to talk because a crowd of people behaved POLITELY than I am about Rudy being inconvenienced by a crowd who is IRATE about MILLIONS of babies slaughtered, and Rudy thinks it should continue to be publicly funded.

Somehow, I think in the scheme of things, God is more concerned about the murder of innocent babies than Rudy having his 5 minutes.

” He will best defend the born — and the unborn.

Rudy does post 9/11 posturing. His post 9/11 record includes
Kerik for our security.
Cutting and running from the 9/11 commission.
Pocketing the cash from unidentified ‘clients’.

He won’t defend the born any more than the unborn.

You disagree. Fine. And thank you for at least stating.

Many who disagreed only went on and on about what was “allowed” and that’s just dumb.

Um, wrong. We're just repeating what started the entire matter:

he first amendment gives you the right to stand in line and ask a question, but not to interrupt!!

That little sentence you refuse to address. Yes, that one had everything to do with what is "allowed."

I wouldn’t subject anyone here to those pictures, who isn’t willing to look. But those who work assiduously to support abortions need to see them.

“You still haven’t addressed how you think these types of protests are valuable and worthwhile.”

I have. It does many laudable things. It makes those who advocate or support abortion uncomfortable. A good thing. It discourages liberals from running in the GOP, another good thing. It might even awaken the conscience of the hardened sinner and cause him to repent, even better.

Now, I ask you again, How would you stop abortion ????????????

The best way to stop abortion is for FreeRepublic to take all of the money that it has raised and send it to the Rudy Giuliani campaign. He will best defend the born — and the unborn.
I’m pro-choice. I’m pro-gay rights, Giuliani said. He was then asked whether he supports a ban on what critics call partial-birth abortions. “No, I have not supported that, and I don’t see my position on that changing,” he responded. Source: CNN.com, “Inside Politics” Dec 2, 1999 http://www.ontheissues.org/2008/Rudy_Giuliani_Abortion.htm

ANDERSON COOPER 360 DEGREES (November 14, 2006)

RUDY GIULIANI (R), FORMER MAYOR OF NEW YORK CITY: I'm pro- choice. I'm pro-gay rights.

KING: Giuliani supports a woman's right to an abortion, and back in 1999, he opposed a federal ban on late-term abortions.

GIULIANI: No, I have not supported that, and I don't see my position on that changing.

KING: Immigration could be another presidential landmine. Back in 1996, Mayor Giuliani went to federal court to challenge new federal laws requiring the city to inform the federal government about illegal immigrants.

JEFFREY: He took the side of illegal immigrants in New York City against the Republican Congress.

KING: Giuliani opposes same-sex marriage but as mayor, he supported civil unions and extending health and other benefits to gay couples. He also supported the assault weapons ban and other gun control measures opposed by the National Rifle Association.

GIULIANI: I'm in favor of gun control. I'm pro-choice.

Republican Big-Wigs Support Pro-Abortion Event in NY

Pro-abortion Governor George Pataki and New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who also supports unrestricted abortion, are co-chairs of the 2000 Choice Award Presentation to be held on May 30 at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City. The event is sponsored by the Republican Pro-Choice Coalition, a group that is campaigning for the removal of the pro-life plank from the Republican National Platform.

“If, as you do, you believe that such tactics (”being rude bullies”) are not helpful to the cause of life, why don’t you speak up against them? And why are you arguing with people who are willing to speak up agains them?”

My response to the article was to make a $99 donation to Rudy Giuliani, and submitted with the following message to his website:

Rudy supporters are not generally welcome here. No, I am not a mod or the owner and can do nothing about who you support, except to say that I think it was a really dumb move on your part.

“Would you send Planned Parenthood money too?”

I don’t remember Planned Parenthood cutting taxes and regulations, restraining spending and dramatically cutting crime in a city where most people thought that none of those things could be done. I also don’t remember Planned Parenthood leading a city with courage and skill through the largest terrorist attack in history. Consequently I’m unlikely to be sending them a check.

Rooty's private life epitomizes Planned Parenthood's condomized Fully Fornicating society (Giuliani donated to PPhood, and PPhood honored Mayor Rooty's exhaustive efforts to advance abortion rights.)

Unzipped Rudy is something else. Rudy had no qualms causing the public humiliation of his second wife by dumping her at a news conference without even telling her. He tried to dump his two young kids out in the streets---saying he was dividing the Mayoral mansion in two---to move in his mistress.

Married Rudy's porking his mistress on the public dime and hiding the theft of public services in obscure city agencies, then lying about it to voters.

Giuliani's messy personal life is a big turnoff to women voters. It makes wives and moms around the country skeptical of putting him in the White House.

If Rooty can't control his zipper, how can he control the country?

One news poll found 50% of women overall - and 48% of GOP women - are less likely to vote for Giuliani because he dumped his second wife Donna Hanover at a 2000 press conference.

Lots of women say Giuliani's assigning seven tax-funded bodyguards/drivers to his girlfriend while his wife was still NYC's First Lady was EVEN WORSE than Rudy's public humiliation of the mother of his children.

"Rotten" is a word that came up again and again when women refer to Rudy.

WRT Rooty's "family values"----remember that some 82% of those polled had a problem with Rooty not attending his own son's graduation.
