The Talk Shows
Sunday, January 13th, 2008
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Former Gov. Mitt Romney, R-Mass., and former Gov. Mike Huckabee, R-Ark.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Romney, Huckabee, former Sen. John Edwards, D-N.C., and former Sen. Fred Thompson, R-Tenn.; Abdul-Qader al-Obeidi, Iraqi defense minister.
Edwards - Spend $100 billion in a few months to stimulate the economy. Green infrastructure. What a dope.
LOL. John Edwards has a little poof to his bangs today.
He is all for the middle class. What happened to the poor?
Yep, Huck will be nasty nice, lie about his record and make more poopy jokes.
No doubt.
Woffie with Edwards now asking about Iraq and continues to use the statement “the so-called surge!” What a clymer.
I think he’s saying the middle class is the new poor.
But not for long- he wants $9.50 for minimum wage
Define personal attack. What Fred did in the SC debate was point out policy differences. That is NOT a personal attack.
Who gets Edwards’ votes, Hillary or Obama?
What a site! Marathon Pundit, just full of great stuff.
Good eye .. I thought I saw something strange.
If it was a piece, you would’ve thought it
would be in the off-camera ear, though.
Any clearer pics?
Edwards is saying the purpose of the surge was political progress. He says there is none.
Woofie brings up the de-Bathification law. Yeah, sure, says John, but that’s not enough. John would withdraw a significant number of troops immediately. More diplomacy, naturally.
In other words, he is still intent on losing and letting Iraq fall to the al-Qaida. How incredibly dangerous.
The Huckster reminds me of BJ; full of crap and can’t take a punch.
He does not tolerate criticsm well.
Wolf asking Pony about F’n’s endorsement of Obama. Boy is floundering about.
Sorry, you lost me.
All the media seems to want are food fights among the candidates.
You said this...he said that...
It’s so tedious.
Yes, but S 2611 actually passed the Senate in 2006. And the Senate, controlled by the Reps, failed to even vote on the House enforcement first bill that passed in the House overwhelmingly. I think you are giving much too much credit to McConnell. He was forced by public reaction to take a stand. Also, he is up for reelection this year.
Did you see this earlier in the week?

Huck's campaign manager is an attack dog who worked with a populist before (Perot). So they are out dredging up nonsense about Fred. The campaign is not responding to the real deficits that Fred brought up about Huckabee's SUPPOSED conservative record.
Huck has had three days Fred said to respond to issues Fred raised. Instead, Huck resorted to potty humor and personal attacks (Fred being a foreign agent as a lobbyist-- not.)
Fred also said Cato institute rated Huck a D and an F on tax and fiscal policies as a governor. Cato is a conservative think-tank and very well thought of.
For the McCain/Thompson conspiracy theorists: When Wolf asked for a contrast with McCain, Fred said they differed on illegals and on tax policy.
Yup; shows his complete ignorance on the Islamic threat. God help this country, indeed the world, if any of these democrats get elected president. Between the democrat candidates, and their poodles in the media, the truth about the threat, the progress in Iraq and the overall WOT, and the history of our entrance into the WOT will never been fully known.
I think in history, Bush will be known as a great President. These times will be seen as when the media went from being liberal biased to complete propagandists for the enemy.
Whoever coined the phrase “enemedia” had it spot on, and this age of journalists will be known as that in history. It is beyond shameful how these folks would rather see the enemy win than their own country.
