Careful what you pray for!!
I remember how terrified I was of McCain in ‘99.
And then Bush took SC and all was right with the world.
But so many contenders this time messes up the mix.
“Hes a huge traitor to the party if nothing else. Not someone you would ever even consider nominating to the highest office.”
when chris matthews and alan colmes think mccain is a great candidate u know something is really wrong.
“Careful what you pray for!!”
I always am, but sometimes not careful enough!
Amen.
Hmmm....what did you put in your coffee this morning? And, remember, "if" is a mighty big word.
HRCs body language is so revealing. She cain’t he’p herself. Every word out of her mouth is a lie.
Trent Lott on my XM 121. Yeech!
Speaking of testicle lock boxes....
...did anybody happen to see poor Bill Richardson this past week as he grimaced with the pain of his reproductive organs all knotted and twisted as he lamented his bad decision to throw his Iowa votes to the Obama camp?
“But oh, Wolf, it was just a misunderstanding,” Richardson said with a grimace as the lockbox tightened down below. “These sorts of things happen in campaigns. Bill, Hillary and I are cool.”
Richardson breathes easier as the lockbox eases up slightly.
We must hope this man already has children because after this....never again.
Terrified of McCain in ‘99?
Just imagine what his prescribed dosage was then compare to now!
Dole:
-—Too old
-—War Hero (in the last war...and a decades-old war)
-—Popular Senator (with the media)
-—Unpopular senator (with the GOP base).
-—Too old (for emphasis)
-—Heartland values, but not a conservative
-—Famed for “working with the other side”
-—Too old
McDole would simply be a 1996 redux.
We can win on national security and probably on the economy. (Remind voters of Bill Clinton’s promised tax cut in ‘92. Within 2 months he “discovered!” that Bush pere had “lied about the economy” and Clinton was “forced” to push the biggest tax increase in history)
Must admit had not heard of coughing problem though several people have had colds that have hung around for a couple of months.
The big problem lately has been a sickness bug that basically the department of health has advised people not to go to work, or visit their doctor’s surgery and certainly not visit a local hospital from the point of view of spreading it further.
Basically told to let it take its cause if it does not clear up within a few days contact your GP and they will advise further.
Wow! How to spend the afternoon, morning Ali!
Republicans in congress should be ashamed for not defending Lott better. That being said, McConnell is a much better leader for our side. Lott was too willing to compromise and too willing to abandon Republican principles to the other side to get a deal.
On the subject of fishing in the Keys, do you know Randy Wayne White?
I’ve read all his Doc Ford books.Love to visit Sannibel Island.
Taco Bill is an incredibly stupid man. Apparently most of the voters of New Mexico are even dumber.
Really. All summer long all we heard was that the primary schedule this year equated to a national primary on Feb 5th. So why would Romney bail out if he was leading or very competitive going into SuperTuesday?
You do not need to win a primary to go into the convention with a big lead.
