Peggy, I think he did. Didn't he work on a film crew or something like that? Oh yeah, he was on patrol with a film crew. Yea, sounds like your average GI in the service to
his country himself.
From what I hear John got a few scratches while serving in the armed forces. They gave him a purple heart and sent him home. He came home and wound up singing like 'Jane Fonda' on the floor of the Senate of the United States.
John's a war zero.

Thank you so much for clearing it up for me. Gee, I wonder why he never mentioned serving when running for President, although, I vaguely remember something about a swift boat.
