Idiot OBL reporter spreading lies via USA Today. At the end of the article is a sterling example of another problem that can be traced to the damn Illegal aliens, Illegal Alien Homeowners:

Jose and Esperanza Becerra, Tulsa couple came to Oklahoma from Mexico illegally, Jose 10 years ago and his wife five years ago. They were drawn here “because it was a pretty state and there was work,” Jose says. Since 1804 passed, the Becerras have closed their bank account and put THEIR HOME ON THE MARKET, (now how can this Illegal couple buy a home in the US?), just in case they are forced to leave quickly or against their will. “Since the law went into effect,” Esperanza says, “we are in fear every day.”

Any idea why there’s a problem with labor supply in agriculture?

They do not want to follow the rules, would rather to have slave labor and let the tax payer pick up the tab for their cheap labor.

That having been said, huge kudos to Oklahoma for cracking down! Self-deportation works.

And with Mexichusetts now granting all sorts of beni's to illegal aliens, which will soon include in-state tuition, we all know where they'll be heading. Time for VT, CO, NH, NY and RI to put up fences between themselves and the gay state.

P.S. Lucky Teddy! With the influx of the illegals, not only will the cost of labor go down, but he'll be able to get all the panocha he can handle for just a song.

Otherwise, it's going to get pricey in Oklahoma.

It will be a long, long time before Oklahoma prices get near the prices on the coasts.

Oklahoma plans a confiscation scheme in which the state takes away property, including real estate, for those who violate the law.

Whoa! That's gutsy. I wonder what would happen if this were tried in California?

the housing market will suffer another hit in a year that already portends dark days for residential real estate.

Seems to me we were saying - over two years ago - that this would be an inevitable result of funding loans to illegals in the first place.

Talk about sub-prime lending...
