That is a strong endorsement. Fred may be a serious factor yet. Today was far and away his best. What remains to be seen, will he truly catch fire, or is this just a flare up, with the majority of Republicans.

I sure hope our friends in South Carolina bring Fred to the front. Looks like it may be our last chance for any worthwhile candidate other than Duncan Hunter, who is almost unnoticed by the media. (mainstream or otherwise)

A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency or simply to swell its numbers.
Tells you how he would look at the four RINOs who were littering the stage of the debate last night.

One of many to come. This is the time we will all remember as the beginning. Just because a bunch of other fools have been running around the block for months doesn’t mean they started the race. The game begins at the same time it always has; not at the pep rally, but when the clock starts, and this is the kick-off.

It seems to me that all this Fred Thompson news is too little, too late. By now, no one is listening or hearing anything about Fred Thompson. He should have been more forceful last September when he finally made his announcement to run (after dilly-dallying around for about 4 months).
I actually prefer Fred to the others in policy and in demeanor. However, he seems to be off of the radar screen for the news media and for the voters. It’s a shame. I hope I am wrong about this, and he manages to make a surge, but I am not holding my breath.

Is this the big endorsement? Its a good endorsement but not worthy of all of yesterday's hoopla, that, and the fact that the BIG endorsement is not supposed to happen until noon today, makes me think this is clearly NOT the one referred to yesterday.

Amongst conservatives, it identifies the true conservative in the GOP field. For those who weren’t sure ast to who is the real conservative, this removes all doubt.

Its a conservative endorsement. That always helps.
