Republican Presidential Candidate Debate #15 Myrtle Beach, SC 01/10/08 - Official Discussion Thread
Watch the Republican presidential primary candidates debate in Myrtle Beach, S.C., live on FOX News Channel and FOXNews.com at 9 p.m. ET.
That's the Catch-22 of voters' opinions about voters' opinions. They are subject to change, though.
You know about chaaaange....
I believe you’ll find the Bible calls on people to do good works individually from the heart and instead of using the government to force them to do so like Huckabee wants. As for those attacking some one’s religion you’ll find the majority of them to be so called Christians attacking Romney for his. Are they trying to have it both ways? There’s a word for that-hypocrite. This is coming from some one not supporting either of them, so you can lay off the “you’re a Romney shill” commentary before you even start it.
Whew....
I always like a lot of what he’s trying to say, he struggles to say it. That said, McCain has burned almost every bridge to me, it’s just a matter of how I feel on election day if he actually wins the nomination (I only prefer him over Huckabee, but I would probably vote for McCain in a general. While vomiting.)
Yes, I believe that is what he is talking about. It's depressing to me because I wonder if my vote is worth anything anymore. With so many states allowing this crossover, Dems can determine who our candidate is. And generally speaking, Repubs just don't do as much of that since a lot of us have morals and values and care about our candidates.
If you look at that mess in NH you have to wonder how many out of staters voted for McCain. And this crossover stuff in Michigan is going to give the state to Huck or McCain, Mitt will probably be third and then Fred. That's politics but my vote is getting erased by fraud and dishonest voters.
Ahh, the Romney Sleaze Machine talking points for the night.
You’re credibility careens towards the negative territory now.
Seriously, I have no idea who that poster might support, all I hear is vitriol from him/ her.
They will be calling Fred “Comeback Kid” after these next 9 days. Then it’s into Florida, where even Rudy has now recognized the threat Fred is posing here.
It’s all Rudy and Fred here. You wouldn’t even know anyone else was running other than Ron Paul...
Huckawho?
I’m afraid he’s going to pull a Perot = I’m hoping he’ll attract a lot of the lib loonies from the dem voters.
Why on earth is he even ON the republican ticket?
**Fred is closer to my views on most issues but he seems so dismissive of the Religious conservatives that I have found it kind of insulting so its hard to get excited about him.**
Good grief, man, get your mind connected to your fingers!
FRED got the Right to Life endorsement! What can be further right and further religious than that. Supporting the Catholic Church’s views on no abortion!
You need to take another look! Thompson doesn’t wear his religion on his sleeve like Huckster doess, but I believe he is much more sincere and doesn’t use it for political gain.
I like Cinderella Man better!!!
Guess it’s not Rush.

Guess who I talked to on the phone today? THE Fred Thompson and I actually got aggressive enough to give him some advice.
Several bloggers were involved in a blogger conference call today with Fred.
I got a few chuckles when I asked him about tonight’s debate and told him to be less gentlemanly and steamroll the others. I told him to call the others out when they say stupid things, and to expose them as the liberals they are.
He hinted that tonight’s debate performance will be different than the past ones and that he has been looking at things a bit differently at this point in the race.
The big news was his tease that he will be getting a big endorsement tomorrow.
One person asked if he would get a celebrity and he answered with a big “nope.”
The only clue he would give is that they are a part of the Reagan coalition. Your guess is as good as mine.

Reagan coalition .... GHW Bush?
I send you great love, troll.
Ozark Mountain Daredevils:
"If You wanna see an Angel, you got to find It where it Fell,
"If you wanna get to Heaven, you got to raise a RAISE a little HELL!"
Something there about those old lyrics maks sense.
It's no coincidence that most conservative pundits and talk show hosts speak approvingly of Mitt Romney, and negatively about Huckster and McCain.
Laura Ingraham, Monica Crowley, Sean Hannity, Hugh Hewitt, Michelle Malkin, Dennis Miller, even Rush Limbaugh.
After all, THEY want the GOP to win just as bad as anyone.
Speaking of Miller, who is a total riot on the radio, he really jumped on the Romney bandwagon tonight (his show plays here in Philly from 9pm to midnight, although it's on live during the morning, I think)
Tonight, Miller said he had previously wanted Rudy, but realizes Rudy is just too unacceptable to the bulk of Republicans.
Romney is the most well rounded and electable, Miller said.
Ok, I was going off what he said on Meet the Press and I hadn’t heard about his change in position. Thanks for letting me know and I will definately check into it.
But FRED got the endorsement of Right to Life against abortion.
Voting for FRED is voting for life and voting against Roe vs Wade.
What else do I need to say? Get the facts before you make these silly statements!
His judges will be orthodox believers like John Roberts, Antonin Scalia, Joseph Alito and Clarence Thomas. What else do you want?
That was disgusting. Talk to someone that served in the arms services like that...
Look up your *&^...;)
