WASHINGTON -- Stepping back from the febrile blare that the political classes have orchestrated around the Iowa caucuses and now the New Hampshire primary, allow me to make an observation that some will say is lacking in humility. Well, to be honest, of all the virtues, humility is the one that I simply cannot stick. I mean, what is the point of it? Now that we have two presidential contests behind us and the Clintons thrashing to maintain a one-digit lead nationally over Senator Barack Obama, where only a couple of weeks back the lead was in the double digits, it appears that I have been right for months. We are in the midst of a Clinton crack-up.

A 1-digit lead over Obama is completely decisive, as Clinton has the vast majority of superdelegates.
It will be Clinton in the primary.
He says that young Democrats are finally breaking with the liberal 60’s generation that has been ruling the Democratic party for a long time.
So what do the young Democrats want? Even more liberalism and big gov’t?
While I agree that it seems a large part of the liberal electorate is tired of the Clintons and dreads another four years of defending and hiding their actions, the premise of Tyrell’s argument in this argument is flawed.
He is stating that the Clinton machine is flying apart at the rivets and bolts based upon troubles in the primaries. This is foolish. The Left and the liberals may court Hussein Obama in the primaries (in large part to push the Clintons overtly to the Left as in denouncing the war and praising punitive taxation for the countries higher earners), but if Clinton wins the nomination for the Democrat (not -ic) party, they will all fall in line behind her. Yes, they will pinch their noses and vote for her.
I haven’t read Tyrell’s book, but if he uses information such as the line I quoted above as evidence of the dissolution of the Clinton self-control and cohesion in their apparatchik, he is revealing how shallow he is. To view those tears as any form of a break-down is childish.
Knowing how the Clintons operate, her “crying episode” is better explained this way:
The Clinton machine discovered that the woman vote was not only turned off by Hillary, but was eagerly moving toward Hussein Obama. The NH caucus was all about swaying the woman vote. So, Hillary stages a “woman moment” (she is as sexist as liberals are racist) and cries for an audience. But this was only half the plan. They knew NH lets just about anyone (even non-state residents) vote in their primaries, so they had already arranged for many supporters from surrounding states to move and and vote for her. Honestly, does anyone believe that the precincts in NH would be so ill prepared as to run out of ballots? They ran out because those precincts had a flood of voters in addition to the number they usually receive.
This little scheme enabled the headline stories to read: Hillary cries, shows softer side, proves she is a woman.
And
Hillary in stunning upset wins NH.
The two events are joined in the dull minds of the masses and they turn off the Soundbite Media believing the “female vote” (remember Slick Willy’s supposedly silly line about not being able to make her taller, younger, and male? let’s see how often we begin to hear the terms male and female in this campaign) has now firmly decided to back her.
Never underestimate the Clinton machine.
second “argument” = article

BTTT
Like all new generations, they want to be unique. They don't want the choice their parents made, which in this case, is the Clintons.
I sure as heck would not want to see her crack up! It is bad enough to see her face.
It looks that way, but they want someone younger to do it.
Clinton is making a smart decision in regards to young voters. No use catering to them because they are starry-eyed for the new, young, kid Obama. Regardless, they don’t show up to the polls in great numbers.
Hillary is running a campaign to attract Dem stalwarts and enough independents (mostly women) to put her over.
If the GOP doesn’t get their stuff together soon, her strategy will win. If we have to go to a brokered convention, it is over- there will be too much infighting to overcome Hillary.
