Let's play a Wednesday night game of WIARHSI: What If a Republican Had Said It? What if a top GOP consultant compared Barack Obama to a "dog"?
James Carville, who acknowledged he was serving as an unpaid consultant to the Clinton campaign, used the metaphor on tonight's Larry King.

The analogy is meaner as Serpenthead used it.
In the South, the police let the police dogs attacks blacks with regularity.
Like a noose, the notion of a “dog” and “blacks” has a very
bad connotation. Pictures from the 60s could be posted by some more able Freepers.
Let’s see if the race pimps Jesse and Jackson pick up on this.
But I think they’ll be “the dogs that didn’t bark”. If a Republican said this, it would be Imus-time.
No Republican would say it because there would be heck to pay.
Of course Carville was artful enough not to say “Obama is a dog.” But the point is, whatever the analogy, Carville managed, somehow, some way, to compare Obama to a dog.
if the Justice Brothers smell a buck, they’ll come trolling, you betcha....................I can hear Al Sharpton yelling outside Osloppy’s house door now...............................” Hey Obama, when I said yo mama was so fat, sorry...have you seen my mama’s picture ? Yeah, she fat too.......oops I mean huh....
African Americans will be noticing these things. They may not mention it now or the media will not cover it, but they are noticing just how the white Liberal establishment is treating the first black man to have a good shot at the Presidency. The Clinton’s blind ambition may destroy the lock the Liberals have had on the black vote for so very long. From Hillary’s “spade work” comment to Mr. Clinton’s dismissals of Mr. Obama that Donna Brazille complained about, to this “dog” remark from Carville, these are all things that are hard for anyone to miss.
lol...spot on. Like a reptilian "grey."
Thank you Willis, that seems like a term I should have come across by now. I need to get out more...:)
Eggs-zactly, if anyone should know a “hit dog” when he sees one, it’s Carville.
Well, you’ll return a lesson when needed, I’m sure! Bein’ jes’ a ol’ country girl, I knows what I knows.
Very circumspect observation...
sick, ain’t I

BUMP BUMP BUMP
I've seen many of those pics and clips at the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis--sure wish I could help out in posting them, exit82.
The racism that the Klinton Kamp has shown makes my stomach turn.
And I'll bet you $100,000 on a $1,000 futures deal that Hillary has NEVER before used the word "SPADEWORK". SURELY there's a "journalist" somewhere out there that can research that.
You and me both.....gotta good guffaw out of it!
I think when pronounced with a drawl, it’s considered a term of endearment. As in, “Yo dawg...wassup?”
cool.....it stands then
Good point about “spadework”.
Her Heinous loves those plantation analogies.
Nothing to figure out. Let them engage in personal, nasty cross body blows and fight until the bitter end. Here’s to hoping that Obama wins SC, Hillary wins Nevada, and there is a near split Super Tuesday, with Obama winning the black and limousine liberal vote and Hillary winning women. They will all be at each other’s throats before it is all over. Provided neither Hillary nor Obama completely implodes. From a conservative perspective, that is the rosiest scenario. Because the GOP is not built solely on identity politics, it does not have the same problem. Eventually, a GOP candidate will emerge and be able to energize the base.
As far as the subtle racist message coming from Hillary’s camp, never forget that the Democratic Party has a long, long history of serious institutional racism and it shows now and then. They bloviate about how progressive they are, and yet when push comes to shove they don’t give minorities the time of day.
“Spadework” has never, as far as I know, been part of Conk-eye Cankles’ public lexicon. How is it that she just now “happens” to use it—in all of her (long) life—when describing Obama?
My first thought too - Carville actually IS Golum, lol!
Carvile - what you get if you drag a dollar bill through a Louisiana swamp......
