The Nevada Republican Assembly held a Presidential Endorsing Convention on Sunday Jan 6, 2008, choosing to endorse Congressman Duncan Hunter.
The endorsement by NVRA by more than a two thirds majority is a significant statement about the character and principles of a living and practicing conservative Republican. Duncan Hunter's record as a 26 year member of Congress places him squarely at the lead of all the GOP contenders, as the standard bearer of conservative Republican example.
On Saturday Jan 5, at 1:00 PM Candidate Duncan Hunter addressed an enthusiastic crowd of convention attendees, by phone conference.
The President of the NVRA, Michael Kressler and the members of the NVRA are proud to endorse Duncan Hunter for President for his stand on the values of the sanctity of life, support of our constitution, 2nd Amendment rights, security of our borders, limited government, love of God, parental rights, Fair Trade, Fair Tax, educational excellence, state sovereignty, controlled spending and protection of private property.
Congressman Hunter was elated to receive word from NV campaign personnel just moments following the prestigious and important NVRA Nevada Republican Assembly endorsement.

That is great news!
Great idea!
I’m game!
Good news for Duncan. Very good news.
Nevada’s Republican Assembly has proven they are a gem in a party of turds.
WTG!
Go Hunter!
Good idea.
We’ll need the email addresses and phone numbers to contact the right person at the MSM network.
Thanks. I too have been thinking about this. My concern is that Fox News will continue to be the station to host/air the GOP debates from here on out and if they do, they will continue to leave Hunter out. Even if they are not the station who holds the debates...others like CNN may follow their lead. I’ve called FOX and told them I will no longer be a Fox viewer. I also called SC GOP and gave them a piece of my mind.
Does anyone know if Fox aired the Hunter presser where he called them ‘knuckleheads’ and said he will not drop out?
I’m calling Fox tomorrow to complain. :)
It is not about Duncan Hunter, it is about fairness and inclusion, and also, about our troops. You can see that is primarily where Duncan got so angry in his press conference was that troops fight for the right he is being denied. I dont blame him if he got a little hot under the collar when knocking the usual MSM and Establishment "Knuckleheads".
This convention was quite interesting and it was an insight into what is to come in the county and state conventions here in Nevada. The press release cannot explain what it was like. I was not a participant in the vote, but I was an observer. It was amazing to see how a group of voters could block a candidate from getting the endorsement. If you are guessing, it was the Ron Paul supporters. After they got knocked out of consideration after the 2nd round of voting, they wanted to make sure the Assembly didn’t endorse any candidate. SO...they tried to band together to keep the best candidate from getting a 2/3 majority vote. After 2 rounds of secret balloting, Hunter still came out on top over Fred Thompson and earned the endorsement of the NVRA. The most amazing part of the convention is when they took the first vote and Hunter had 41% of the group stand up for him.
We can’t let down, we can’t give up.
BTTT! awesome.
What is he polling in Nevada?
She has a southern accent mixed with a British accent I think.
Makes me warm and fuzzy inside.
>Hunter had 41% of the group stand up for him.<
