I was just looking at the names of the “Americans” arrested.
I would like to have clarificaton. Are they actually legal citizens of the USA or are they illegal aliens that have merely spent more time on our side of the border for the last few years?
There is a big difference, and I would not want the term “American” used to describe someone who is not, especially when they get into a shootout with another nations military.
So lets have some clarity from the media please.
Just read that too. Anchor babies that went back to cause havoc? Better them then us. Anyway, Detroit and Mexico are two places I don’t plan on stepping a toe into.
“2 Detroiters in Shootout with Mexican Troops”
Did they leave any survivors?
[Ricardo Zamora Lopez and Jose Raul Gonzalez Sanchez of Detroit]
Or probably Ricardo Zamora-Lopez and Jose Raul Gonzalez-Sanchez. The last name of a lot of Mexican nationals is their mother’s family name and father’s family name hyphenated. They could be Mexican nationals with Michigan drivers licenses and other U.S. ID.
Their two last names indicate that they’re either illegals or they’re legal immigrants. I suspect it’s the former.
I lived in Detroit for 10 years, and I know what's like.
And, the usual saying is, in the inner city of Detroit (after dark) before you get out your car, "rake the area with machine gun fire or 30 seconds"...
Only 10 years? I survived 35. Have pictures of the tanks rolling down my street during the ‘67 riot. Fond memories-not.
The Houston Chronicle called them “three U.S. residents”.
This is what I love about FR...it’s the first thing I thought of, and I scroll down, and there it is. LOL.
Dude? Dude?
I guess these are the illegals that Johan McCaniac wants to immediately make into Zcard carrying citizens.
I don't have any information on accuracy but that is impressive range. What were they shooting?
Probably ‘Big Ernie’

It’s possible that they are American citizens, but in any case I think it’s likely that drug smuggling is involved. Just my opinion. Drug smugglers are not loyal to any nation.
“Three U.S. residents were among 10 men arrested Monday after a border town firefight between authorities and alleged drug gangsters that left three dead.”
Yep, drugs.
Ya...they weren’t native Detroit’rs....
Anyone I know from Detroit would have been better armed than the Mexican army.....
