In a stunning upset victory, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton beat Sen. Barack Obama in Tuesday's Democratic presidential primary election in New Hampshire.
Ya know, I think you give him way too much credit with the anti-christ label. I think he’s more on the order of Phil, the prince of insufficient light.
You may be right about Richardson...he’s as dumb as rocks so he won’t outshine the SHE and he’s nothing more than a go fer boy to do the Hils bidding and to slake in a few more illegal voters from south of the border.
The media had to set the stage to allow her a comback.
No. The "Wilder Effect" (named for Douglas Wilder) is in a race with a white and black candidtate, when whites tell pollsters that they are supporting the favored black candidate so the pollster won't think they are "racist", even though they intend to vote for the white candidate. This is also known as the "Bradley Effect" for Tom Bradley of L.A.
What ever happens in 2008 the Conservative Movement looks to be the big loser.
Better a Clinton again then McCain. That way at least the Democrats get the political blame. With McCain we get all the political blame and all the same Neo Socialist intrusive big Govt boomer nonsense only it will be blamed on a mis labled “Conservative” McCain administration.
Why do we dismiss the Hildabeast so flippantly in the general election?... with a country tilting left, a poor GOP candidate and the evil fraud mechanisms the Clintoon empire is so steeped in we have a fight on out hands in the GOP... not only for the next Pres but for the soul of this nation quickly sliding down into the moral abyss.
What are you smoking? Her problem against Obama is that she is a reluctant, foot-dragging Commie compared to the bright, shining Knight in Red Armor that is suddenly the hero of the Dem proletariat.
I agree.
I highly doubt britt is giddy with anything clinton. go read about the death of his son and the circumstances surrounding it.
I get sick thinking about either of these lefties getting in the WH. I can think of nothing POSITIVE about either, with one 'POSSIBLE' exception.
If Obama is elected it may put to rest ONCE AND FOR ALL the notion that we are a RACIST NATION. I would expect to see the Jesse Jackson's and Al Sharpton's of our nation slink quietly into the night.
As wonderful as my hypothesis is, I believe the price is TOO HIGH to pay. For the utter chaos that will ensue from our withdrawal from Iraq, the loss of our world standing and the leftist policies that will be put in place [etc. etc. etc.] will devastate our economy and ruin our country!!
Good - now they have a dog fight on their hands - let the fur fly and let them bleed their supporters dry.
Well.
I guess that’s a strategy for conservatives not in favor of McCain: Vote for Hillary and then deal with her for only four years and let her rack up a history of non-performance, and then have another conservative run against her in 2012.
It all depends if one wants to do that...
I don’t know, as scary as Hillary is, she might, just might, not annihilate us. However, with Obama, think how much more easy access the enemies of the US will have with him at the helm.
All the so-called “decent democrats” who are reported to be out there, they are dead to me if they put us in the position of having to try to weather out either a clinton or BHO presidency.
It seems to me that the Clintons use psychology - and anything else necessary - to influence and control the masses. I think his hissy fit today and her wistful little girl performance were psychological acts orchestrated by someone with a lot of experience in manipulating the masses to regain the demographics they had lost. Mind control is scary, and people who will allow their minds to be controlled by so clearly unscrupulous people is real scary. It always amazes me what a vacuous, transparent, meandering buffoon he is and that people still hang on his every word.

Pollster John Zogby: Obamas margin over Clinton has opened up. He leads among all groups except women and voters over 65. In a development that could prove significant in later closed-primary states, Obama has pulled ahead among Democrats 40% to 34% -- as he did in Iowa in the closing hours. Democrats NH Tracking 1/5-1/7 Clinton 29% Obama 42% Edwards 17% Richardson 5% Kucinich 2% Undecided 5% http://www.zogby.com/news/ReadNews.dbm?ID=1417

Final New Hampshire Dem Primary Poll: Obama 37% Clinton 30% The final Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in New Hampshires Democratic Presidential Primary shows Barack Obama leading Hillary Clinton 37% to 30%. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/new_hampshire/election_2008_new_hampshire_democratic_primary Gallup
By this past weekend, after the Iowa caucuses, Obama had moved slightly ahead of Clinton among registered voters, but jumped more significantly ahead among likely voters. Obama now has a substantial 13-point, 41% to 28% lead over Clinton among likely voters, with Sen. John Edwards following in third place, with 19% of the vote. This marks a dramatic shift from just 2 1-2 weeks ago.

You may be right. But what I can't figure is, why is there a shortage of solid conservatives of presidential caliber? The principles are well known -- low taxes, limited gov't, strict constructionist judges, free trade, sound money, pro-life, strong defense, etc. Doesn't anyone with an interest in being president believe in those anymore?
“The pollsters are helpless if the voters lie to them. Its called the Bradley effect.”
No matter what the democrats are never going to nominate a black man to the presidency. Never! Chris Rock said it and I am saying it too.
The people I know who are openly liberal democrat are also the most racist.
My bet is that some Independent voters, thinking that Obama was now a sure win, decided to try to control the outcome of the Republican race and voted for McCain instead.
I think that made some of the difference for Hillary, not just the emotional moments, and made McCain’s win bigger.
