*PING* !!!

Q - How can you tell when Fred Thompson is really excited?
A - It’s not easy, first you have to catch Fred awake.

As the Coca Cola parrot would say, “EN-joy!! Squawk!!” LOL

It appears all the writers in Hollywood are on strike.
Good grief. Where to even begin? Oh never mind...more tripe.

There wasn't one public event listed in the Manchester Union Leader, the state's mega-politics paper, for Thompson during the weekend.

He basically skipped New Hampshire, as many candidates do in various states. For better or worse, they decide not to expend the resources there.

This isn't that complicated, but Hollywood Reporter isn't really known for their political analysis.

Fred has to do something dramatic like he would do on a gig running for president, using a dramatic voice and face of course. PS Acting won’t cut it, you need original ideas.

Too funny. This from Hollywood, via Reuters! Quite the sources there, barryg.

Help me clearly understand what you're inferring here. You think the surviving Republican candidate should be:

Big Rallies! (like Clinton, Obama, Romney)

Straight Talk Express (like McCain LOL)

do a terrible "great job of acting in this campaign" (just like Mitt, right?)

I'd say you just made a perfect conservative case of great reasons to vote for Fred! Thanks!

Fred made a big mistake by doing a favor to (L&O Producer) Dick Wolf by delaying his entry. He cost himself some big donors and lots of media buzz as we all sat around. Given that, he is still head and shoulders above any other man in this race, and I wish him well.

Typical Hollywood: ignore substance, focus on flashiness.

Nothing about this man’s career-to-date suggests a lazy person.

18 hour days on tv and movie sets, Senators go 24/7, etc.

He runs for President and suddenly becomes lazy?

So, big question: Is Fred not in remission? Does he still have cancer? Is he balancing chemo and this campaign?

The Presidency requires an image of strength and vitality. There’s a certain President we’re all familiar with that the entire planet had no idea was infirmed and profoundly disabled, because the press considers that info off-limits as a reporting item, for obvious reasons.

If my hunch is right, pin the medal on him now, because he’s risking his life and probably going thru physical hell for this campaign.

Lumbering, slow and lazy just won’t Git-R-Done for Fred.
Too bad because he maybe the best conservative of the bunch.

And Hollywood hasn't come to New Hampshire to campaign with Thompson

Now there's a good reason to vote for someone!

"I think he was sold a bill of goods," said Dan Schnur, a Republican media strategist and professor at the University of California at Berkeley. "A lot of people told him how easy it was going to be, that there wasn't a real conservative in the race, and he would show up and the support would flock to him."

Sure, Fred came into this totally blind. *snort*

As Fred said at the beginning, this isn't his first time at the rodeo. He knew exactly what was coming.
