A couple of yahoos interrupted Hillary Clintons speech tonight in Salem by waving big signs and chanting Iron my shirts!
Clinton asked that the lights be turned on, apparently to see them better and declared. Oh the remnants of sexism, alive and well tonight, to applause.
She then talked about breaking glass ceilings, before joking as the pair were hustled out: If theres anybody in the audience who wants to learn to iron his own shirt, we can talk about that.
We followed.to ask what the heck they were thinking.
Nick Gemelli, who is 21, and born at least a decade after iron my shirts was an anti-womens rights slogan, didnt have much of a rationale. I just dont think a woman should be President, he said.
He couldnt really say why, but he agreed that he was a health care voter, as the sticker on his carrying case implied. The Hillary for President sticker was a bit more of a puzzle.
He said he had just been given both and peeled them off. He said he had no connection to any campaign.
At least he got some attention. His friend a la Bart Simpson said his name was Hugh Jas, but The Mouth later learned that his real name is Adolfo Gonzalez Jr.
Update Adolfo apparently has a MySpace page that says he is a Republican who doesnt do drugs or have a girlfriend, and calls himself Captain Fun. He did seem to enjoy himself more than Nick.
Include me among the skeptical. There are people who behave like Republicans and people who are doing their best to behave as Democrats think Republicans behave. The latter are Democrats.
LOL!
Ding, dng, ding. We have a winnah...
Oh, come on!
Next thing you know, you will be accusing her of planting questions.
Jo, you thought my little guesses and coincidental references were scary, wait till you see this one!
Adolfo Gonzalez, Jr. is a ‘shock jock’.
Fred Toucher and Rich Shertenlieb - along with news and sports guy Christopher “Crash” Clark and their “345-pound” teen sidekick Adolfo Gonzalez Jr. - debuted their 2 to 6 p.m. weekday show on WBCN (104.1) last week.
Hillary has been campaigning on the “first female president” platform. Unfortunately for her, women in powerful political positions is no longer new and exciting.
The guy’s a low level employee of a Boston radio station. Draw your own conclusions, but these kinds of things made Howard Stern a favorite.
Michelle has figured it out...Hillary’s lady friends don’t seem to have a clue.

Are you a Health Freak: No, I am Republican

GG NY Daily News, they really should have put the context.
LOL! AKA Hugh Jas...
“20:1 says they were paid by someone in the Democratic Party, probably Hillary to do all of this.”
The same Hillary Rodham who plants questioners among the audience now has an alleged Republican heckling nonsense that just happens to reinforce the victimhood of a female candidate.
This is Hillary.
Her entire candidacy is a daily performance.
She lives from lie-to-lie.
Her biggest worry (other than Obama) is that voters might find out what she really believes (think Karl Marx and Saul Alinsky here) and what she really plans to do (when she says "change", she's not kidding. Think "collective" here.)
Thanks for the PING
Hillary is sexist ...
how sexist can you get than talk about men presidents and women presidents...
“I’m going to be the first WOMAN president...The women are gong to run the country”
WELL, I NEVER.....
I thought Hillary, Gloria et al did away with gender and just called people persons...
We are not suppose to chose employees by their gender...
so it should not matter if I vote for Duncan hunter...
But he’s a man...
you sexist thing you to point that out...
Oooooooooooooooooo
The future possiblities for SOOOOOOOOOO much fun with Hillarious...
Tune in next time when you will hear Hillary say “Have you ironed my purple trouser-suit yet Bill????”
LOL
