Local news has been reporting all evening on a system of tornado producing storms moving through SW Missouri. There is at least one reported fatality and significant damage. Tornado warnings continue to be issued every few minutes.
Anyone else in the area have any information?
Can you correct this? The headline should read Southwest Missouri.
SW or NW? Headline and text don’t agree.
Report in Star and Buffalo
Anyone know about Cassville. I have some friends there. Love the place.
Center Missouri - Ashland (Columbia)....3 tornado sirens this afternoon( 3:00 or so...), with a funnel spotted 5 or so miles south of me. 1 inch hail coming fast and hard. Impressive. Lightning etc...
The station keeps losing its signal.
Prayers for those in the path of these storms.
Do you know what county it’s in?
They just commented on Cassville saying that there had been a tremnendous amount of rainfall and that flooding was expected.

We’re getting rain here now. The first warning was just issued in NW Arkansas. This system is moving up from Oklahoma.
They’re saying that 25 head of cattle were killed by one of the storms.
Add Northern Stone County and Northern Wright county. I don’t know the area — just regurgitating the NWS reports.
