Drudge: Siren only.
I think they are spinning this story to see what people are thinking and how they are polled using this info.
She would never bow out, no way.
Why would you want her out of the race? She would be tons easier to defeat than Obama will be.
I don’t know. I can’t put my finger on it- but it’s just all too strange. I don’t mean in a tin-foil way. That she could go from such an apparent lead to this in weeks- without a major scandal..it’s stunning.
8 seconds! Ha!
Go Fred!!
I just find this story too funny.
Yeah, she'd hate for the Clinton name to be associated with losing, on top of being dishonest, perverted, adulterous, subject to disbarment and impeachment, power hungry, despotic, sleazy, hypocritical, and phony. That loser image might really stick.
Not sure I think that’s a good thing. I’d rather have Mrs. Clinton, Mr. Obama, and Mr. Edwards fight it out inconclusively for several months. The more these three wrangle and tear out each others’ vital organs, the better it will be for the eventual Republican nominee in November.
However, I can see the sense in dropping out for Mrs. Clinton. Should the Republicans win in 2008, it gives her a leg up on the 2012 nomination to have dropped out before she is absolutely forced out.
She has super delegate support for now...we'll see how firm that support is after tomorrow's votes are cast. I don't really expect the evil harpy to drop out, but who knows? It looks like she's primed to get her clock cleaned. Obama is developing a rock star like following in NH.
Very true. That, plus once he gets nominated--he will move towards the center!! He will be a formidable candidate!!!
Hmm. Very interesting. I heard Bill Crystal on Bill Bennett say this morning that she and her campaign had been full of the entitlement mindset and that behind the scenes today, things are not pretty. Lots of finger-pointing and accusations.
I personally just saw a sortee of flying monkeys in formation do a 180 and settle in the trees. They were on a heading of 090 degrees, which groundtracks for New Hampshire. If they disperse or take to the skies on a 165 degree heading toward South Carolina I’ll get back to the forum.
He was no JFK then, you’re saying? That fella had done it ALL by Obama’s age.
Now that would be a week long grin!!!!
Hillary may have the super delegates now, but many of these super delegates will start wondering whether Hillary will have sufficient coattails to carry them to victory. It is one thing for a politician to support another candidate, but if that other candidate adversely affects them all bets are off.
“Bill Clinton’s wife has a huge treasure chest. She might take the money and run, but she also has super delegate support and party bosses in her back pocket. Would she pull out? Now??”
Her chest is no treasure.
It’s her ankles that are huge!
(Cymbal crash)
[She doesn’t want the Clinton brand to be damaged]
Excuse me but shouldn’t that be the ‘hillary brand’ that would be damaged? All the posters I’ve seen have not even mentioned CLINTON, just HILLARY.
Obama will be much harder to beat in the general election and is probably more liberal than Hillary. But stopping Hillary in the primary would be a great win for this country. If that woman ever sits in the oval office I think that democracy in this country is finished. She will suborn this country’s institutions exactly the way Chevez has done in Venezuela.
Cut and Run is what the Dems do best though...
