The muzzies never learn. And what are they doing on water, I thought they lived on sand.

First they pull that crap with the Brits, now they are messing around with us. It is past time for some smoking holes in the water.

At one point a radio message from one of the Iranian boats warned, "You are going to blow up within minutes." Now can we spank these punks?

U.S. military warships believe the Revolutionary Guard boats were "testing our defenses," Like the terrorists did with the USS Cole?

Iran was successful with wimp presidents like Carter. They think we will fall apart if we tangle with Iran because they think they are Superior thinks to liberals and pansies.

The floating imams?
They’re just itching for something that they can claim as an “unprovoked” attack. Next time they’ll get closer, and the first time our guys get nervous enough to send them to Mohammed Jones’ locker, they’ll scream and kick that our Navy is trigger happy and needs to leave the region.
Do our guys have enough precision to target their engines? I say disable them, and then “rescue” them and hold them over for extensive medical observation, since the entire experience will be traumatic for the poor dears.

Intresting that Imawhackjob would push a confrontation during the primaries. My guess is this will continue. I have not heard about what is going on “internally” in Iran and how much pressure is on the Mullah led government. I keep hoping that some sort of internal revolution of the people develops. We can hope this happens.

Blow them out of the water and say it was an accident, or say it wasn’t an accident, or don’t say anything. Sometimes instead of just carrying the BIG STICK, we need to swing it so everyone knows it still works.

Gun boats against destroyers? Those guys must have been nuts.

“Revolutionary Guard forces also briefly took a number of British sailors into custody even though the British claim they were operating in international waters off the coast of Iraq.”
Is this comment about the earlier (last year) incedent with the captured British Sailors, or is this a new incident altogether?
The activity by the Revolutionary Guard reported here seems to be theatrical for the purpose of establishing counteraction to obtain propaganda. Either form of reaction by our Navy (ie; weakness without response as happened, or “trigger happy” should we have blown them out of the water.) could be convoluted into self serving propaganda to abet the Iranian leadership in discrediting American presence in the ME within (UN) World opinion.
I believe our side won. The next time, should it happen again our reserve this event will be of benefit.
