Fellow Duncaneers, we told you of the Hunter campaign's "below the radar" strategy of targeting Wyoming, Nevada, and Michigan.
Now see the results!
Duncan Hunter just came in a close third place behind Fred Thompson and Mitt Romney in the second national primary in Wyoming!
He beat Huckabee . . .
He beat Giuliani . . .
He beat McCain . . .
He beat Paul . . .
With only two primaries finished, there's plenty of time left to pick up steam!
This is huge!
Fellow Patriots, do you know what this means?
Huckabee won in Iowa . . .
Romney won in Wyoming . . .
and McCain is poised to win in New Hampshire . . .
This election is WIDE OPEN!
With New Hampshire, Michigan, South Carolina, Nevada, and Florida left, anything can happen.
That's why Duncan needs your help now! Help us win Nevada with a contribution now!
Folks, there have been doubters, but let us put all doubt asunder. If we win or place well in one more early primary . . .
. . . the White House is within our grasp.
Just yesterday the Nevada Republican Assembly, the largest concentration of Reagan Republicans in Nevada, endorsed Duncan Hunter with over two-thirds of the vote!
That means that the folks most actively watching the race and participating in Republican politics will show up at the Nevada caucus to vote for Hunter!
That's why we need your help ASAP!
We absolutely MUST capitalize on this momentum NOW!
Imagine this likely primary scenario:
STATE WINNER
Iowa Huckabee
Wyoming Romney
New Hampshire McCain
Michigan Huckabee or Romney
South Carolina Thompson or Hunter
Nevada Hunter
Florida Giuliani
Come Super Tuesday on February 5th, the race for the White House is still a toss up!
What's more, reports have indicated that one or more of the candidates will have likely dropped before then.
Remember, Hunter tied for first place in the first and biggest straw poll in South Carolina, won the straw poll in the largest county in Arizona (in McCain's own backyard), and won the entire Texas State Republican Straw Poll.
I REALLY need an instruction book to follow all this!
If this was Iowa’s primary, then what the heck is the 37 delegates that Iowa will be deciding June 14?
Was 42 for me?
What the heck was Iowa on January 3?

Iowas Caucus
With attendance of 33,000 and votes cast by more than 14,000, Republican party officials called the 2007 Iowa Straw Poll a resounding success. No one was more pleased than Governor Mitt Romney who received 4,516 votes to win the Straw Poll.
(snip, snip, snip, and more snips)
37 delegates will be decided June 14
Go DUNCAN... out and making a donation!!!!
Another blog endorses Hunter!
I’m Going To Flip Flop: Vote Duncan Hunter
All right, after all this time I finally endorsed Fred Thompson as president on my Monday show. And now I’m going to flip flop.
I kept hearing.....”I like Duncan Hunter, but he doesn’t stand a chance.”
But then if that’s who I REALLY want and so many others all say the same damn thing, and we all vote for him, then dammit, HE DOES STAND A CHANCE!
So, now, in writing, I OFFICIALLY ENDORSE DUNCAN HUNTER!
Why do I endorse Duncan? Let me count the ways:
1)He believes judges “have a responsibility to strictly interpret our nations laws and not legislate from the bench with their own political or social agenda.”
2)Wants to do away with stupid “hate crime” laws.”I have always voted against this type of legislation because I firmly believe that the use of violence against any innocent person is wrong, regardless of that individuals race, religion, nationality or sexual orientation.”
3)Duncan wants YOU to keep your guns, so you can protect Jenn from bad boys! “ We must vigorously defend against all attempts to chip away at the Second Amendment. You know as well as I do that there is one thing criminals prefer over any other: unarmed victims.”
4)No pandering on tax cuts,”I do not support efforts to identify segments of our society that are more deserving of a tax cut over another and I believe political stereotyping in this area hinders the goal of providing efficient tax relief. It is important to create a federal tax policy that is both fair to American taxpayers while, at the same time, ensuring that our nation meets its financial obligations.”
5)On Education,”I believe we can educate students more
effectively by returning school curriculum prerogatives to the states, local communities and, most importantly, to the family.”
6)DUMPING THE ANCHOR BABY DEBACLE:”I oppose summarily bestowing citizenship on people who have crossed our borders illegally. Therefore, I cosponsored H.R. 1940, the Birthright Citizenship Act, which grants automatic citizenship only to those who have at least one parent who is a U.S. citizen.” Amen!
7) Bite me China: “Further, Americas one-way-street trade relationship with China and other nations has reduced manufacturing jobs severely in the U.S. I would change the one-way-street into a two-way-street by putting the same charges on foreign goods that they put on ours.”
There are many more reasons, he’s Presidential, he’s served, he’s a good man.....
VOTE DUNCAN HUNTER 2008!

Did you forget the border??
DH on the move PING
Strangely enough, out west I think Hunter should campaign in the churches every chance he gets. The western states are more secular for the most part so Huckabee is probably too religious in his identification for a lot of western states. That said the Christian voters are still there and Hunter can appeal to them with is quieter faith.
[snip]Republican Duncan Hunter also spoke at the temple. He touted the delegates he picked up in the Wyoming primary as the reason he’s hanging in the race.
“I look at the numbers,” he said. “I’ve been outspent 100-1 by (John) McCain, (Rudy) Giuliani, Ron Paul, and I’ve got delegates, and they haven’t won any.”

The Iowa caucuses were precinct caucuses to select attendees to the county convention which will select attendess to the State convention in June which will then select delegates to the National Convention. Thus the Precinct caucus is only the beginning of selecting the delegates and those selected at the precinct level aren’t necessarily bound by the results as it depends upon how each precinct sets up their rules.

This is huge!”
YES! This IS HUGE!!!!
Good news about the Nevada Republican Assembly. Even if the national Republican Assembly group came up slightly short for him, Congressman Hunter should be able to put together a great collection of endorsements from the individual state Republican Assemblies.
But once the evangelical pro-life contingent realizes that Huckabee doesn’t measure up, they will be looking for another evangelical, Pro-life candidate. The only other evangelical is Duncan Hunter. The evangelicals will feel more comfortable with Hunter than with Thompson and his Laodicean approach.
You only read big block letters, do you?
Some of us actually read the articles. Read the whole thread and educate yourself. Let me know how many states you think Duncan will win. Get back to me when your done. There'll be a test, so read slowly.
