As former NJ Gov Brendan Byrne said: “When I die I want to be buried in Hudson County* so I can remain politically active.”
* Hudson County is a notoriously corrupt Democrat stronghold where they suddenly “find” votes in used pizza boxes behind the voting machines that puts their candidate over the top......and the dead vote indefinitely.
bump
Hudson County is so corrupt, the birth certificates from that county had to be nullified. New ones have to be reissued through Trenton.
DMV CLERK ISSUED FAKE IDS
(illegal aliens bought 1,579 forged driver’s licenses, 930 phony ID’s)
AP April 13, 2006 — A former worker at a Department of Motor Vehicles office in Bridgeport, Conn., has pleaded guilty to charges of issuing hundreds of phony licenses. Tracy Lucas-Stevenson, 31, of Stratford, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Superior Court to charges of receiving bribes, forgery and racketeering. She and two female colleagues had begun selling a few licenses to illegal aliens working locally, police said. The operation soon grew to dozens of licenses and IDs being sold every day by the women, they said. By the summer of 2004, police said, the trio had sold 1,579 driver’s licenses and 930 ID’s, at an average of $100 per card. Lucas-Stevenson faces up to 10 years in prison. http://www.nypost.com/news/regionalnews/64420.htm4/20
Lakewood woman gets prison in immigrant scam
04/20/06 THE ASSOCIATED PRESS KNOXVILLE Tenn.
The Lakewood, NJ, resident who led an underground network that shuttled illegal Hispanic immigrants from New Jersey to Tennessee to secure driver’s certificates using fake residency documents was sentenced Wednesday to 46 months in federal prison. “I did not force anybody to come to this state to get a license,” Zeneida Concepcion Rivera, 55, pleaded through a Spanish interpreter. “I was not doing business with these people. I was helping them.” Rivera insisted she was providing a service to hardworking undocumented workers who needed one of Tennessee’s unique driver’s certificates so they could legally drive to their construction jobs and support their families. The cards verify eligibility to drive in the state but are not valid identification. But U.S. District Judge Thomas Phillips was unconvinced, noting testimony that she charged $1,500 to $2,000 per certificate. Rivera’s arrest in July, along with six of the more than 100 illegal immigrants she brought to Knoxville over the past two years, was the first of three major license conspiracies uncovered in Tennessee, leading the state to suspend the certificate program last month. http://www.app.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060420/NEWS03/604200382/1007
Course, this is not too well-known-—but the scene in the classic movie “Night of the Living Dead” where the ghouls rise from their graves and are milling about, was cinema verite-—actually shot in realtime at a New Jersey voting place.
