USAToday’s site shows 6 delegates for Romney. The WYGOP site shows 5. There is no win until there are 6.
FYI, Mormons don’t vote in lockstep. The Congressman from Salt Lake County is a moderate Democrat.
Utah’s support for Romney doesn’t derive anywhere near as much from his being Mormon as it does for him saving the taxpayers hundreds of millions in the Olympics. Those things truly were a disaster unfolding until he saved their bacon.
Nobody wants to be held up as a laughingstock to the world. The SL Olympics were well on the way to that until his involvement. A lot of Utah families do overflow to Wyoming, but not necessarily Mormon. The Utah support for Romney is multi religion.
What do you mean “win?” Are there additional delegates for whoever gets the most delegates?
