i think we also need to remember that we are all on the same team, essentially. many around here want the same thing in the end.
I don’t know. I could finally call that executive assistant’s cell phone number I was given earlier.
Consider yourself Highly CommendedTM, sir.
Cheers!
Fred Thompson gets another delegate, from Crook County!
Hot Springs is now the only outstanding county. I think the others went for Romney, except for one more uncommitted alternate.
Romney: 8
Thompson: 2
Hunter: 1
I just found a 4:40 update that shows
Delegates:
Romney 8
Thompson 2
Hunter 1
Alternates:
Romney 5
Thompson 1
Hunter 1
McCain 1
Uncommitted 4
They still have one county that hasn't chosen a delegate.
They finally have more results up. Only one county left to go.
LOL We found the update at the same time.
Anyone note no update for 1-1/2 hours and still 6 counties are out?
I saw one that quoted the exec. director of the WyGOP and she was using the above but only one for Hunter. Since then I’ve seen a LA Times article saying it’s what I posted above.
I think the people at the hdgtrs left without updating the final numbers.....

Scroll down to the bottom of the page, just above “notes and references”.
WHat I don’t understand is why wyoming is showing number of delegates being 12/14. Which is it? 12 or 14?
It’s a fraction. 12 out of 14 delegates chosen.
Bump!
Only 92% precincts are reporting... there’s one missing. Could that be another one for Hunter? Why hasn’t it been reported yet?
The “executive experience” argument is a myth. There are no scenarios that can be described in which a president Thompson would be unable to lead because of this silly argument.
Leadership is the thing, I agree. Thompson showed he is the leader among the candidates during the Iowa debate. And Romney clearly looked up to Fred and followed his lead.
Want the link?
The are choosing 12 today and the other two come from the state convention which I think will be State GOP officials.
The state website has Hot Springs County as not having reported. That is the missing one. I don’t know if it’s Hunter or who but they have updated the site to show all but Hot Springs.... 8 Romney, 2 Thompson, 1 Hunter. So if Hunter in fact has 2 then that is his if it’s someone else then Hunter only has one.
That should be the WYGOP web site not the state.
Try uploading as a PNG, since it’s a line/choropleth image, not a photo.
The most telling scenario that suggests Fred Thompson's weakness in this area is the "Chinagate" hearings. John Glenn kept Fred Thompson from doing a real and thorough investigation into improper Chinese influence in the 1996 election. Eventually, Fred Thompson allowed the hearings to be diverted into a discussion of campaign finance reform. John Glenn's behavior shows that he's not a statesman or a patriot, but Fred Thompson's performance casts some doubts on whether he'd be effective as anything more than a legislator.
The hearings are just one situation, but the difference is that Mitt Romney has been in many situations showing that he can be effective as an executive. Fred Thompson may still end up being an effective president, but there's no evidence for that hope.
Bill
Funny, that's exactly what i have felt about Duncan Hunter and Mitt Romney. i have nothing against the candidates but am loathe to support either because of the behavior on FR of their supporters.
