One away from a victory celebration at the vast Romney headquarters in Casper, Wyoming.

Hunter — 1 alternate
Hey! Yes. Duncan Hunter has a delegate.
In keeping with some FR scenarios, this means he can go to the convention in Minneapolis and demand to be the nominee in a brokered convention. Those scenarios don’t seem to care about delegate count. Just dreams.
If Mitt wins or places 2nd in Wyoming or NH he will have more delegates than any other GOP candidate, provided Huck does not win or place 2nd in either state.
It's the delegates, stupid.
With Mitt's cash, as long as he is pulling in the delegates which keep him competitive with Rudy's total in the end, there is no reason for him to give up. He's in it to win.
At least Hunter got one alternate. A lot better than Iowa...
And then Romney has four delegates and one alternate.
Wrong, he has an alternate.
Typically, delegates are the only ones allowed to vote at a convention, but alternates go in order to cast the vote if something happens to the delegates. Alternates also have almost full access to convention activities. In a few meetings, alternates may vote as well.
In 2000, I was living in Texas and went to the Texas convention as an alternate. In some ways, being an alternate might be more fun. In some cases, I found myself wandering the exhibits and talking to people while the real delegates were sitting in uncomfortable chairs in the big meeting hall. I went to a few meetings where I was allowed to vote on the individuals who represented us as delegates. I didn't have a vote on how delegates would be allotted, but I could vote for the folks who went to the big show.
I'm sure that the alternates will be happy for the chance to go to Minnesota. In particular, alternates who are alternating for someone else who supports their candidate will have a good time. The real delegate does the heavy lifting in attending meetings and ensuring that the candidate gets his vote. The alternate goes to the parties, collects buttons and funny hats, takes pictures of the famous people, and still gets to sit in the main hall for the big celebrations.

I’m watching this website: http://news.aol.com/elections/primary/state/WY/republicans
How about everyone else?

Aristide was at the time supported by the US and President Bush.
That site is not bad. Seems just a bit behind the state site linked up higher in this thread.
“CaptainKirk is giving you the part of the story that he wants you to know.”
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I can’t understand how a person could have any self-respect, given the knowledge that their weapon of choice is deception.
Bill
Thank you for clarifying.
You are not quite correct, sir. Hunter has an alternate that won’t vote. If he gets a delegate, then yes, he is in 2nd place nationally behind Romney in voting delegates to the convention, since Iowa’s caucuses have a different certification arrangement.
It was my pleasure.
All this stupid hype over Iowa, and Wyoming has exactly the same amount of delegates. And at least they aren’t retarded like Iowans are.
That website seems confused.... There are only 12 delegates being selected today along with 12 alternates.
Currently Romney has 4 delegates, 1 alternate
Hunter has 1 alternate
Undeclared - 1 alternate

The document is just a snip from something with more information that has been left out, for some reason.
I just noticed the link is from the Politico. I happen to know that the Politico is engaged in a war against honesty, highlighted by their cowardly attack on Thompson a couple days ago.
To the Politico staff, I would advise: you need to rethink your war against honesty.
Allowing the Politico to have credibility in politics is like making OJ Simpson a marriage counselor.
Yup, looks like they actually want someone who actually has a shot against the Hildebeast, or Barack
I will even go so far as to say I actually REALLY DO LIKE Fred Thompson... but from the outside he has been a terrible campaigner.
The only problem with him is he doesn't go out and pound the streets as he should.
