If the New Hampshire Democratic Partys 100 Club dinner is any bell weather Barack Obama will handily win here. When Obama, the dinners last speaker, took the stage the crowd surged forward chanting O-bam-a and Fired Up, Ready to Go! So many people pressed toward the stage that an announcer asked people to please take their seats for safety concerns.
By comparison Hillary was twice booed. The first time was when she said she has always and will continue to work for "change for you. The audience, particularly from Obama supporters (they were waving Obama signs) let out a noise that sounded like a thousand people collectively groaning.

After reading how the Dem Caucuses work, it still looks like Hillary will be the winner. She already has plenty of delegates pledged. I'm afraid only the end game counts here. I hope I'm reading it wrong...
At the end of the day though and no matter who wins, I don't see where the Dems have a good candidate...period.

Interesting that she's dragging Madeline Halfbright around with her on the campaign trail. Mad Maddy will really draw a crowd.
Now if Shrillery REALLY wants to fill a hall to the rafters, she should add Helen Thomas to her entourage with the ever-luscious Susan Ostrich as dessert.

However neither of them has much elaborated on what change means to my knowledge. Yea, but trying to guess keeps me up at night...

Its called, "CRASH AND BURN BABY!" I like the analogy of a train wreck better. You have to have something with a lot of weight and bulk to properly visualize Her Thighness.

In grad school, a visiting linguistics professor gave an informal lecture on the Japanese language. He noted that the Japanese really didn't have curses and swear words in their idiom. That surprised the class.
Glad to see this deficiency has been rectified.

1. Someone who assumes leadership of a movement or activity
2. Anything that indicates future trends.
Comes from bell + wether, originally a sheep with a bell around its neck, that led a flock.
(I didn’t know, either ;’}

Okay, I give up, what the hell is “bell weather”? Proves I’m way too dumb to write for Time Magazine.
A bellwether is any entity in a given arena that serves to create or influence trends or to presage future happenings. The term is derived from the Middle English bellewether and refers to the practice of placing a bell around the neck of a castrated ram (a wether) in order that this animal might lead its flock of sheep.
In sociology, the term is applied in the active sense to a person or group of people who tend to create, influence or set trends.
In politics, the term is more often applied in the passive sense to describe a geographic region where political tendencies match in microcosm those of a wider area, such that the result of an election in the former region might predict the eventual result in the latter.

Could be that the silly spell check programs would not have flagged that.

The way to look at what you say with common sense would be to say “any state gullible enough to elect an individual like Hillary probably isn’t smart enough to throw her out of office”.

the idea that so many young people are having orgasms over the idea of electing Obama is almost as nauseating as the thought of Hillary being cheered
To my mind there is NOTHING as nauseating as Hillary. Repeat: nothing.

I feel the same. He and Huckabee had months to work that one small state. Of course they were able to get a turn out for the caucuses, which need to be axed IMO. Active Duty Military have no chance to participate in their states decision. I aslo dont like the fact that a couple hundred thousand people can totally change a candidate lineup.

Wouldn’t it be cool to have a Green Room Cam at the Democrat National Convention where Hillary can sit there like Brady Quinn on draft day watching the delegate count climb over the top for Obama. Wouldn’t that be soooooo cool? Her ego would just be crushed.
