A very sticky and emotionally charged issue indeed. And that is an understatement.

Unfortunately, a consensus will be neigh impossible to come to.

In that regard Fred's approach is the only one we can rely upon as it was intended by our founding fathers.

Should the day come, and I hope it will, 34 states by representation, can come to the agreement to offer up an amendment to the constitution concerning the sanctity of human life at conception, which I believe is already the intention of our forefathers.

The Federalist approach to self governance is what we have and the courts have been subverting that for decades now.

Our process, while perhaps is not the most perfect, is after all our "process". Either we hold fidelity to it or we don't.

I am glad this is Fred's position and one of the many reasons he has my total support.

I agree with Federalism because (other than that seems to be Constitutional - enough in itself) the best government is small and as local as possible.

Besides, laws always seem to come booby trapped. At the least, they are enforced by prisons and guns.
