I agree with Federalism because (other than that seems to be Constitutional - enough in itself) the best government is small and as local as possible.

Besides, laws always seem to come booby trapped. At the least, they are enforced by prisons and guns.

I won't take the time to look it up, but Congress, assembled, passes scores of "new laws" every session while hundreds already on the books go un-enforced.

Quite a mess the critters have morphed into, on both sides of the aisle, I might add.
