How many people in this country outside of the surrender party will vote for B. Hussein Obama?

John Francois Kerry got 59 million votes in 2004.

Obama is a much, MUCH better candidate, and will surely get more than Kerry.

How the Republicans will do depends on who they nominate.

All my thinking about matchups has been GOP candidate vs. Hillary.

The considerations vs. Obama are different. How different remains to be seen.

Maybe I'm Tired, Should Have a Drink or Call It a Night   [Kathryn Jean Lopez]

but am I crazy to not think this e-mail is not totally crazy (Peter, you are not allowed to answer):

I'm biased for Fred... Still, I can't help but wonder if a strong debate appearance prior to NH can siphon off some of Huck's supporters who become disenchanted, some of Mitt's supporters who think he's toast, and go into SC and win. He'll take TN, he'll take AL (his home state, actually), and do fine out west.

Also, I can't help but think that if every person who said, "Fred Thompson's got the best policies and attitude to be president, but he can't win," would actually vote for him, he'd be a shoo-in.

One more thing: Even on conservative outlets like National Review and The We...another periodical, the coverage has been very down. I scrolled through the list of stories on the candidates and the only one for Fred was the Politico story about his pending collapse. Nothing about Zogby noting a surge although it was mentioned in the text of the Corner. It's a bit disspiriting that the most conservative guy in the race doesn't seem to be able to get a decent story about him that doesn't predict his imminent doom.

So what you’re saying, is you’d vote for a Christian Communist over an athiest pro-life Conservative?

And what’s with Barak Hussein’s ebonic inflections?

Give me a break.

Okay... ball is now in your court. WHAT is her draw? What EXACTLY separates her from the rest of the talk show folks? WHAT special talents does she bring that others lack? Me thinks you have a crush on the old dog....

I agree. I’m not a big Rudy fan, but I could hold my nose and vote for him. I’ll take him over McCain, anyday.

"then you can have a pro abort, pro homosexual, anti family, anti gun president....but hey if modest tax increases to pave the roads in Arkansaw makes Huckabee a rino then you can have Obama."

-----

All along I've said I'll vote for the GOP candidate, whoever it is. But Huckster made me backtrack. You know darned well it isn't just a case of "modest tax increases to pave roads." It's

- Buying into Global Warming hysteria (a biggie with me);
- Pardoning hundeds (over a thousand) of felons, including scumbags who went on to commit more gruesome rimes, including murder;
- Giving tuition tax breaks for illegals, and calling opponents of amnesty bigots;
- Constant anti-capitalist class warfare rhetoric;
- Dissing Bush with comments about an "arrogant bunker mentality" (with friends like these....);

Other than abortion and guns, is there a single issue the Huckster is conservative on? I think L. Ron Paul is a more consistent conservative!

Weird! I get a lock in firefox.

If the link starts with https://, you’re okay regardless. I’ve checked out the cert and it’s 100% legit. They bought it from Godaddy, which means they had to go through the most annoying signup process imaginable, so who says Fred doesn’t have any fire in the belly! :)

Think ethics not denomination or criminality. I see you’re pretty much a one issue voter. You can’t and don’t want to look beyond Huckabee’s pro life stance and take into account the various ethics charges brought against him as governor nor his record on taxes, immigration, or his complete lack of common sense when it comes to foreign affairs. Vote for him, you’ll get your one issue and be screwed on every other conservative principle there is.

Only God knows the heart. I am telling you what I observe about Huckabee's lack of character. The Holy Spirit brings people to Christ.

How about the people Jim Bakker pastored before he repented and REALLY came to Christ in prison? Are they Christians? Yes, if they honor him as Savior and Lord. God can use anyone to work his purposes.

A little less than an hour ago the goony fugger Alan Colmes was still spouting this lie from Politico that Fred was dropping out of the race...

Every thing Rush said today was 100% on point. The fact that 1/3 of the caucus attendees fell for identity politicking is of little surprise, however 70% of them didn't support the Huckster, thats no small number.

I know my guy (Fred) has a lot of work to do, but I don't think tonight's results killed him, or is proof that Rush made a mistake.

"Romney is the only Republican loser of the night."

Just how is Romney the loser when he beat everybody but the one state wonder, Huckabee?
