I think it’s a one hour delay on WHO Des Moines so I listen to him live on KXEL Waterloo.

The only way Huck and his family are getting into the White House is with a visitors pass on a guided tour like the rest of us.

I agree. He might have done well tonight, but his mileage will drop dramatically has he continues down the road.

I like Hunter...Of course he finished last. lol

Anyone who votes against Romney for being a Mormon is an embarrassment to the Republican party

I agree, but suspect that has happened in some cases tonight in Iowa, and will happen in future primaries. I'm not necessarily a Romney supporter, but voting against him just because he is a Mormon is disgusting, IMO.

Bush carried Iowa by a very slim margin so I don’t see how he could’ve won every county.

Iowa’s sort of a strange state in some ways. It’s heavily rural, with no truly big cities (Des Moines is about the size of Chattanooga, the fourth largest city in my state of Tennessee). But it’s not nearly as conservative as Nebraska or Indiana. There seem to be a lot of farmers there who still think it’s 1934 and FDR is gonna send them some money if they vote Democrat.

Combine those farmers with union members in Des Moines & Davenport, and some academic lefties around the college towns, and it’s a closely divided state. The western half of the state seems to be the most conservative.

Do you believe Reagan was a Christian? Do you believe he was a fine President? What about Jimmy Carter?

Just saw the ‘Politico” clown on Fox News. He says this is a great night for McCain and now Thompson faces a ‘hard choice’ about continuing his broke campaign. Of course the reporter failed to challenge the lie this clown put out about Fred quitting. What’s up with these people, including Fox News, about constantly trying to sabotage Fed’s chances??

I think the Iowa outcome is very good for Fred. If he gets $$$, he will surge way ahead with the big primaries in February.

Mormons believe that the Christian church became apostate until Joseph Smith founded theirs. My daughter was a Mormon for eight years. My little granddaughter told me in those years that hers was the only true church. This is fact.

Republican 3rd placve is tightening between Thompson 13.6% to McCain 13.31% with 72% reporting. I hope McCain doesn’t squeeze by, as Fred will get lost in the shuffle.

We’re witnessing why these early states are so important. Whoever the MSM pushes as the winners will reap the benefits in NH and beyond.
The system sucks, but there it is.

You just might get your wish. The way the numbers have been trending, Hillary may end up with 29 and not enough change to round up.

Senator Barack Obama : 37.24%
Senator John Edwards : 29.97%
Senator Hillary Clinton : 29.56%
Governor Bill Richardson : 2.14%
Senator Joe Biden : 0.94%
Uncommitted : 0.12%
Senator Chris Dodd : 0.03%
Precincts Reporting: 1656 of 1781

(Percentages are State Delegate Equivalents.)

FNC channel officially died as a reliable news source.

they have the same reporting as CNN or MSNBC.

MSM now includes FNC.
