Since we are being spammed by threads today slamming Thompson's campaing hopes, thought you all might like to know who is supporting him (financially).

Just a few:

Peyton Mannning

Mary Matalin

Pat Sajack

Others here:

In fairness, Mitt Romney does have former Boston Celtic player Danny Ainge.

Eli was going to give $100, but he dropped it and lost the money.

Good choice. Peyton surrounds himself with good people.

Seeing as how Danny's kid also played QB for Tennessee, you'd think his kid will be for Fred.

Of course Ainge contributed to Romney. He’s a Mormon.

Darn! I don’t see basil listed there-—and I have certainly contributed to Fred’s campaign—LOL!

I thought Eli accidentally gave it four times to an opposing candidate.

HA!

Actually, Eli was going to through his money towards another candidate, but it was intercepted.***

***I say this as a Giants fan

Really though - Eli hasn't give to anyone.

wasn’t Fred Peyton’s coach at UTENN?

Kidding, but he and Fullmer sure do look similar.

In the final few minutes of the primary no doubt.

You got that wrong.

He threw it at Thompson but Romney intercepted.

I’m recalling that Danny Ainge was a stinker on court, even if he was a good player. My husband detested Ainge.

That may be because he abandoned his basketball contract to play professional baseball and stunk there too.

When I lived in Boston, even the Celts fans called him "Danny Angst."

Every time he was called for a foul, his little pout was priceless.
