Fred will get the nomination and win the general election because he has you, me and the rest of the Internet revolutionaries (plus Rush Limbaugh) on his side.
bttt
Just out of curiosity, did Ron Paul get twice as many votes as Rudy, or was it three times?
Thank you this is so well written and I agree with you.
This morning his strategy looks weak, with no real possibility of winning the nomination.
Sure it does, just not the top tier candidates. Thompson blew his opportunity in my view in August and September.
In September he announced and his campaign was just starting to gain people, gather contributions, and win endorsements. September was also slow because he was rusty as a campaigner. Now he has hit his stride.
The Iowa vote is non-binding on delegates, BTW.
Doesn’t matter ‘the why’ in this regard. Nobody cares to be blunt.
Fred finished virtually tied with the guy that voted against the Bush tax cuts, and voted for Amnesty, and gave us the insane CFR legislation, John McCain.
Hardly a thing you want to brag about with Conservatives in my view.
MCLEAN, Virginia, Nov. 29 /Standard Newswire/ -- Senator Fred Thompson released the following statement tonight regarding abortion:
"In tonight's debate we saw once again that on abortion, Rudy Giuliani is pro-choice and Mitt Romney is multiple choice. I believe abortion should only be allowed in the instances of rape, incest and the life of the mother and penalties should be assessed against the abortion doctor and not the woman."
Jim, I know you care deeply about the life of the unborn. Is this statement from Mr. Thompson OK with you?
To me, this inconsistent position seems to be more anti-choice than pro-life. Mr. Thompson's (as well as Romney's and McCain's) position seems to be more focused on the mother, the issue and the false distinction of birth, than the life of the child. Lets say an unfortunate child of rape, incest or a mother who passes in childbirth is born. Should that breathing infant not enjoy the protection as a "person" of the 14th amendment because of the circumstances of his conception and birth?
I ask these questions hoping and praying that I will not incur your wrath and displeasure. I thank God and you so much for FreeRepublic.
