Show up and vote today in Iowa, friends.
At the GOP caucuses vote your choice.
If I lived there I'd vote my conscience for Duncan Hunter with Fred T second.
Of course I have my suspicions about Thompson, but see nothing wrong with voting for him since McCain and Giuliani are not near the top.
Of course if you are worried about the McCain surge it may be a good idea to vote tactically for Romney to build him up to defeat McCain in New Hampshire.
If you really want to confuse things in hope of a real conservative emerging later in the contests, maybe you should go with Huckabee.
Best wishes for success tonight.
This isn't a "one man-one vote" system.
Only certain 'special' people get to vote.
Religious conservatives in Iowa need to know that Duncan Hunter is just as much of a social conservative as Huckabee, if not more so, PLUS Hunter is the most conservative on the other conservative issues.
Hunter and Brownback (but Brownback dropped out) were the only presidential candidates to attend the pro-life march in D.C., Hunter fought the aclu to keep the Mt. Soledad cross, Hunter fought to allow students to pray in schools, and President Reagan even called Hunter and praised him for his fight, and Hunter introduces the personhood-at-conception law each year, and more.
PLUS, Hunter has been the most effective candidate on securing our borders. He had a fence built in San Diego, which tremendously stopped crime in San Diego, including illegal drug trafficking, and authored the bill for an 854 mi. double border fence with border patrol in between, with a climb-proof barrier, which was signed into law. Duncan Hunter says that border security is national security.
He will bring back high-paying jobs to our country which we lost because of bad trade deals with Red China and the rest of the world and cheating by Red China. While Duncan Hunter voted No for Most Favored Trade Status with Red China, he voted Yay for trade with Australia, because it was in our county’s best interests.
Duncan Hunter was Chairman of the Armed Services Committee (when the Republicans had the majority), gave us ABS deployed in Alaska, and Hunter built up the defense that Bill Clinton tore down, and got equipment and weapons to protect our troops, and our country,
Hunter served with the Army Rangers in Viet Nam, won a medal, and his son did two tours in Iraq, including Fallujah, and just finished his third tour in Afghanistan.
Want to really shake things up..........vote for the only true Conservative.
Rep. Duncan Hunter
I think for GOP, it is one head one vote in Iowa caucus. For Dems, its different.
Nah, we can all show up and be counted, it’s a little screwy but ordinary people do get to caucus.
“Duncan Hunter is Conservative, period.”
True.
Many religious consevatives in Iowa are voting for Huckabee, despite the fact that Huckabee is liberal on a few other issues, because they think he is the most conservative on the social issues.
That is not true. Hunter is just a much of a social conservative as Huckabee, and I believe more so (examples given in my last post), PLUS Hunter is conservative on all issues.
A little screwy???
LOL! That’s an understatement!
Prayers up for our country....
“Duncan Hunter...and ONLY Duncan Hunter!”
If I lived in Iowa, I would caucus and vote for the best - Duncan Hunter!
“we can all show up and be counted,”
Are you going to show up and be counted? :)
“Prayers up for our country....”
I pray every day that God will send us good leaders.
Yup! I’ve only lived in Iowa for a year so I don’t know how these things really go and I’m interested in seeing.
“Ive only lived in Iowa for a year so I dont know how these things really go and Im interested in seeing.”
It sounds like a lot of fun.
If you have the time, maybe you could give us the nutshell version later.
fyi
See my posts 24 & 25. Do you know the answer to my question posed?
I just don’t get why Iowa gets som much attention and credit.
