I don't deny that this guy is connected or has access to money and influence.

What he doesn't have is demonstrated loyalty to the USA, demonstrated conservative beliefs, or any record of achievement whatsoever.

Of course one of that will matter. By 2050, Northern American Sector politics will consist largely of violent clashes over differing Spanish-language versions of the Koran.

There’s no mention about private school enrollment.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

No mention of homeschooling either.

Gee, I’m shocked. The only people who put their kids in public schools are those who can’t afford to have them educated somewhere else.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

We should call it what it is! RANSOM!

Some parents can **ransom** their children from government school indoctrination camps.

Some parents can pay ransom in the form of private school tuition and homeschool expenses.

I don’t do it a lot, but I agree it’s a very good article with regard to what’s going on in those leftist heads. Everyone should read it, and bookmark it. I have. And yes, I do link others to it.

“Asians stress education and their children usually become successful doctors, lawyers, engineers and etc.”

That is why they are persona non grata in the grievance world.

Please, no more Bush, Clinton, or Kennedy family members in the White House.

Some parents can pay ransom in the form of private school tuition and homeschool expenses.

At the very least, those expenses should be considered tax write offs. A fair number would be $10,000 per child under age of 18 should you decide to homeschool or private school.

Of course, it'll never happen, the teacher unions will go all out war on this.

The same teachers who came to be sooooooo politically powerless to enforce discipline, choose sound reading and math programs, and combat political correctness, are the very same teachers who defeated vouchers in Utah.

Go figure!

I heard recently that Michigan and Rhode Island were the only states to have actually lost population since the last census. Mich. I can understand, because of Detroit having turned into a crime ridden dump. But why Rhode Island?

If we have no hope of passing vouchers in a conservative state such as Utah, then we certainly have no hope to do it anywhere else.

Too many “old money” folks driving out the middle class in Rhode Island would be my guess. Certainly most of us cannot afford the property values up there, I shall assume.

My husband and I like Utah and visit it often. We enjoy skiing and camping and we have several friends that we visit who have moved there.

Utahans already have Mormon church schools. They ARE the government schools. They are staffed with teachers and principals who are Mormons, and if not, they outwardly ( at minimum) conform to Mormon family values. We were on an Alaskan cruise a few years ago and we met a middle school principal who was the bishop of the surrounding ward. ( Who is going to vote against that?)

Mormons have also built “seminaries” beside every high school in Utah. Mormon high school aged children leave the high school every day for one hour of religious instruction. The Mormon church has staffed these “seminaries” with full-time, paid, professional religious teachers. Much of the social life of a Mormom youth revolves around seminary activities.

Utahans are also very conservative. “Conservative” in meaning that they are cautious about radical change.

In most rural counties, there are NO private schools whatsoever where a voucher could be used. These Utahans rightly reasoned that their taxes would go up for the benefit of those living in Salt Lake City.

In most rural counties of Utah, the government school is the single most important employer of the people living in the county. ( Who is going to vote against that.) This, by the way, was the case in Cecil County, Maryland, where my husband and I used to live.

The only solution for closing down government schools is:

1) Remove your own kids.
2) Encourage others to do the same.
3) When critical mass is reached organize a school tax revolt.

Harvard has a 35 BILLION ( yes, with a “B”) endowment! Christians if they wanted could do the same for private scholarship foundations that could offer private vouchers to children attending private Christian schools. We are a wealthy nation. Christians could do this if they wanted.

Every child could have the opportunity attend a Christian school if Christians wanted. (Why not? Where is the will?)

Finally, Christians should abandon the idea of brick and mortar schools. Christians should think in terms of homeschools, micr-schools, and one room school houses meeting in church basements and Elk Club halls. With today’s technology excellent and inexpensive curriculum is available.

Their own children and the youth of their congregation ARE their MOST important and URGENT mission field.!!!!! Evidently, too many Christians don’t see it.

“But why Rhode Island?”

That’s a good question. Maybe legal residents are moving out because illegals are moving in, but only legal residents are counted in the census. But, really, I have no idea. I’d be curious to know, though.

Harvard is never going to spend their endowment money. It’s untouchable.

They need to keep being minorities, otherwise they lose their victim status.
