Fox News at 3:00 PM, now dissing the Iowa Caucus(inoculating against a Huckabee and Obama win?)
Fox News(Sheperd Smith and Carl Cameron)

Watching Fox news and the lead at 3:00 PM EST, was a rant by Shepherd and Carl, saying how Iowa doesn't matter, as Roger Ailes and Fox News spent millions covering it.
I guess Roger & Co, at Fox will not like the results(Huckabee and Obama winning and getting momentum).
Roger Ailes and his friend Rush Limbaugh, are not amused, thus this little hissy fit.

Actually if Huckabee can hold on to win it helps Thompson more than anyone if Fred can get around 20%.

I was thinking the same thing. All this democracy and voting and stuff is getting in the way of a lot of people’s hopes and dreams.

Exactly. Too much democracy around these days. When Hillary’s in the feds are going to come after Talk Radio and the net.
They will find some form of new control.
Count on it.

Huckabee will not win Iowa. His words and actions are catching up with him. Rush Limbaugh tapped a few more nails in Huckabee’s coffin today.

They have also continued to make excuses for Giuliani’s irrelevance in the early states.

It’s looking more and more as though Rush and Fox are testing their ability to sway conservatives. For what unknown reason, I can’t imagine.

BTW, Shepherd just reinterated the now Rush/Roger Ailes point that Iowa voters have too much power to McCain's campaign manager and it really doesn't mean much, and that the system is "antiquated".
This after months of Fox News pushing the Iowa caucus and spending millions to cover it.

He sure did. He plastered McStain too.
Rush isn’t backing anyone by name, but he sure is touching on the issues that candidates have espoused, and that’s quite effective IMO.

I think Huckabee helps McCain more than anyone.
Fred’s problem is that A Huck win in Iowa is needed to knock Romney off track from building a sweep, but in doing so Fred will probably get squeezed out by the Huckster in the South. It’s really looking like all of this is leaving Fred very little where he can go. And the Fox and the rest of the MSM will be pushing Rudy hard on Super Tuesday, saying nothing that happened before matters.
