Failed to protect our borders. Failed to slow the Democrat agenda of increasing the size of government. Signed off on budgets without a whimper. Failed to roll back any of the EO crap his Dad and Slick Willy signed.

Bush's "conservative" accomplishments barely equal out his "socialist" accomplishments like No Child Left Behind and the Medicare Drug Giveaway programs we still can't figure out how to pay for. Fighting the WoT is great, but fight it like a War and not a damn police action.

Thanks, but if this is what we can expect from Rudy McHuckaromney... then no Thanks.

O.K.

Maybe he wasn’t that bad. But he was far from perfect.

He did screw up on a number of issues and on the Kyoto Treaty he is backpedalling now that he has embraced his
“holistic” self and joined the Global Warming wackos.

Great post Southhack. I appreciate your work. I love President Bush because he is a leader. What he isn't is silver tongued devil who makes excuses for what he believes in. He will do what he thinks is right, and stands by his decision. He doesn't stick his finger in the wind and see how the wind is blowing. He seeks out the facts from his advisers, and makes a decision. He's no Clinton, thank God. I don't always agree with what he decides, but I trust the man which is a lot more than I can say for some of the people running today. He makes me feel safe. I don't agree with him on the border issue, but that doesn't mean I see him as some kind of traitor to be deamonized. There are some people who you just can't please, no matter what you do. I can remember when some people were ripping President Reagan because he wasn't "conservative" enough. These are the professional complainers who no matter what you do it isn't good enough. Of course, they would never think of running for anything. They probably couldn't please themselves.

Great post! It’s funny how some people expect perfection in others when, obviously, they are not perect (since there has only been one perfect human being in the entire history of the world and some of Bush’s critics would probably not be satisfied with him as POTUS either). If GW did not satisfy them on their pet issue, he is an utter failure. He has never represented himself to be anyone other than he is and historians will look back on his administration as being one of the best, especially in light of the obstacles and enemies he had to face, both foreign and domestic.
