This is a bit more of a realistic scenario than the fantasy of some freepers who actually think Fred is going to not only rock and roll in Iowa (where he is polling fourth), NH (where he is not breaking 3%, nor is he beating Ron Paul), and SC (again, polling 4th - but at least ahead of Ron) but to actually cruise to the nomination.....

Ah, another post against Fred Thompson. He certainly occupies enough of your time on FR.

Making a note to ping you in 48 hours regarding your wildly inaccurate prognostication.

Do you support McCain? I know Fred and John are good friends, but I don’t think Fred will drop out Friday and endorse John. Remember that Iowa is not the only state, and although a good showing in this caucus gives candidates a boost, it is no where near over in Iowa! Fred is the real conservative in the top four, and I believe he will win the nomination in the end! GO FRED!

I am going to hold you to that and when he doesn't, I am going to demand you admit you were wrong!

Your absolute flame worthy reply did some good. It prompted me to send Fred another $100.00.

Any others care to match to spite this anti-Fred troll?

McCain will drop out, right after South Carolina or Florida.

He’ll be gone by Super Tuesday, one of two gone by then. Neither of the two will be Thompson.

“He will drop out and endorse McCain within 48 hours.”
.

You must be terribly disappointed. lol

I find it curious that you not only predicted this, but adamently stood by your claim, at just about the same time that Politico posted their nonsense, especially since you are the only two sources I’ve seen say such a thing.

Coincidence?

In any case, though Fred was hurt a bit by the Politico claims, he still came in third, ahead of McCain.

How would you like your crow served? ;o)
