Not gonna happen...in districts like this, they wouldn’t vote for Jesus Christ if he wasn’t on the Democratic ticket. I’m not sure the Republican levers work on their machines...

Good luck. Waters got 83% of the vote in her district last time.

Of course. Didn't she tell her rioting constituents to "go burn down the white and hispanic" neighborhoods instead on their own?
(Rodney King riots?)

I assume you’re joking? Yalu River, Korean War, 1950-53.

Where is his website? We need to donate!
They're still just getting off the ground, and I don't think they have a campaign site up yet. His campaign manager's email is
drhassoc@earthlink.net. Ted does currently have a
personal website, and there is a donate link there, which I imagine will suffice for now.

I know, it’s a tough nut to crack. But there have been major shifts in American politics many times, and there can be again. For example, American blacks were once 100% Republican. Things do change. Besides, it’s good to fight the Dems wherever we can. Make them nervous, make them spend money, get them off-balance. Cede not one inch of ground! (Of course, there are other pragmatic considerations when allocating resources-—I know that-—but this is a good place to fight; out of all the seemingly quixotic district battles, this one has impact and publicity potential. And on the winnability question-—you never know!)

Thats a bad misspelling. Where did you find it?On his web site. Says his father fought at the Yallew! I just couldn't find any other reference to any battle fought on the Yallew!!!! Says his father was a "Buffalo Soldier" so I assumed it was a battle in Oklahoma, I guess.

I will mention to Ted that he needs to get such things proofread. Thanks!

My sentiments exactly. Texan FRs are smart enough to know Korean War History unless they happen to be Liberal Democrats or attended public schools in the North East or California.

"go burn down the white and hispanic" can't do that now, Maxie.
Hispanic population swelled by 58 percent in the past decade, making it the fastest growing minority group. I'd hate to see a retaliation in that war.
