You are welcomed, he has “Fred the Beetle Barnes” on now....
Fred and even Bill keep playing to the RINO majors, and not a WORD on Fred.
The silence is deafening...
This caller said he is “ torn “ ohh geez
I like Fred, so much that I’ll be voting for him here in Florida.
But he’s kinda an enigma to me.
I didnt like him a few months ago because I didnt think he wanted the nomination, and I said that many times on scores of threads on FR........of course most everyone jumped all over me.
He finally convinced me that he wanted the nomination a few weeks ago by tweaking his campaign, then he comes out a few days ago and says that he doesnt really want the post as president. HAH!
My personal opinion: he REALLY wants the nomination, even though he says differently. I think he’s being modest, and I think he’s got a strategy that may work:
emphasize the fact that the Presidency is a job of service to one’s nation, not a position of power to be coveted so much that one would do anything to obtain it.
Fox,
He has it right as one poster noted about his or her late Mom, the Office has to seek you not you seek the Office. From what I read he gives a speech and doesn't even ask for your support.
Now tell me, who is behaving as if they respect the "Office of the Presidency of the United States", It is Fred.
Thanks for the link.
It’s not that he doesn’t want the post of president. Thats a media spin. What he said was that he was not obsessed by being President and that he is obsessed by two things...his family and the safety and welfare of this nation. And because of that and the wishes of those around him, he felt compelled to run for President.
To me that is a much more worthy candidate than one who has plotted his whole career to get into the Presidency for personal accomplishment or gain.
I would ask you to read this story An Account of Thompson's 'Desire' Question, From The Man Who Asked and keep an eye out for journalism malpractice as Fred put it.
Getting in the thick of it now...
